Er:Yag for my scars - I’m unsure if I will get the improvement I want

So, I’ve had ablative laser for my trauma scars on my face. I’m unsure if I will get the improvement I want from thus specific laser and I’m so mentally drained from scar revision and not getting anywhere. Overall, the treatment was pain free it just had a lot of down time.I really want to speak with more professionals and people who are going through the same journey as I and just get a better understanding on what more I can do to achieve better results as I simply can’t stand to look at myself or go out in fear others look at me.
