Had laser treatment 7 years ago under GA. Wanted another tx to help with eye & wrinkles around my mouth. Tx was done with "numbing " cream. 3 days later I'm still in agony & face is on fire. Cool compresses aren't really helping and so far I've just touched it out. I've had a lot of cosmetic surgeries but this is by far the worst pain wise. I sure hope I see some benefit to the procedure or I'm done.

Oh my - that looks very painful. Did your dr think it was normal? I'd definitely be contacting the dr and asking if he/she would re-examine you.

Who did this procedure? It looks like your skin has been flayed. This doesn’t look like it should. It scares me because I was considering Laser resurfacing but I have fair skin too and if this is the experience, I would rather keep my wrinkles. I hope you heal and tell us who this doctor is. This isn’t right.

It looks like your skin is thin and this doctor went too deep. It shouldn't look like this. Is he/she a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon? Who was this doctor?

Laser resurfacing update

It's been 23 days since my CO2 laser treatment. No pain, face feels hot from time to time. And yes, I realize I look like a clown. Tried makeup but looked even more clownish. Since I have a fair complexion I'll be stuck with this look for awhile. When I go out I wear large Ray-Bans & facemask.

I'm still a little pink round my eyes and for some reason if I drink coffee or enter a room that is overly warm my lasered skin turns red. After all this I don't see much improvement from the procedure. As I stated in my original post, I will not be getting any more Laser treatments.

I had Tetra CO2 laser treatment six weeks ago to area around my eyes and around my mouth. I am STILL red and quite freakish. I rarely leave the house but I do then I try to cover up with concealer. I really hope this gets better.
