Ineffective procedure - still have discoloration on my face

ORIGINAL POST

5k for Slipper Socks

$5,600
My procedure was ineffective. When I was called in for my visit, they started with "after" photos. I asked why they were taking them with my makeup still on (which hides the discoloration I paid 5k to get rid of) and they said it's fine. Dr. Marotta came in and, in an attempt to deflect blame, went from calling the discoloration on my face (which he called vitiligo at my prior visits) scars during this post op visit. He was indifferent or perhaps annoyed by the fact that I was displeased, though I sincerely believe his misjudgement during the procedure is the reason it was unsuccessful. I was promised a follow up by the office manager to address my concerns, which has yet to come over a week later. I felt uncomfortable and it was clear that Dr. Marotta did not care at all about my situation. I plan to post my before and after photos and in depth review of my experience soon.

Response from Dr. Marotta:
We are saddened to see this review. Generally, hypopigmentation and melasma can be improved with chemical peels and laser based treatments. Unfortunately, in our experience we have found that each patient will respond to the treatments in a different manner. Due to the unpredictable nature of these results, we have tried follow-up treatments for patient satisfaction. If any patient has any questions or concerns regarding treatment for skin discoloration, please contact our office to discuss.

So sorry it didn't work for you and they are not very receptive to your concerns. Did you have these white spots that you were trying to get rid of or is that from the laser? If you had the white spots before , do you know where they came from?
The spots were there prior to treatment and I do not know where they came from. They appeared years ago. Multiple doctors said they were vitiligo. My skin looks exactly as it did prior to treatment. Now the office isn't returning my calls so I will have to file complaints. I paid for a service that wasn't even performed correctly. Marotta offered to do the procedure again but it was so uncomfortable just talking to him I wasn't about to do that, plus I don't have that down time anymore. So sad that this office is behaving in such a way.
So sorry you did not get the results you were trying to obtain. I will sat based off of the photos, your skin surface comparatively looks more smooth and lovely. I hope you find the best treatment for your goals!
If you had hypopigmentation and melasma they should have done patch test to see how your skin would respond to the laser.
His reply was the worst! Red flags and sirens screaming never to go in that office
