Okay, day 6 after my CO2 face and neck…

WORTH IT$3,200
Okay, day 6 after my CO2 face and neck SmartSkin procedure. My neck is much less red and all peeled. My face looks slightly tan - no redness, no peeling left. I still wash and apply my recovery cream every 2 -3 hours. My skin is very smooth. Aquaphor at night time because it stays on the best and keeps my face/neck moist all night. Honestly, no one would know that I had laser done to my skin at this point - even with no make up on!

Thought I would start my journey here to help others. I had Smart Laser CO2 done to my complete face and neck.
My appointment was yesterday at 11:00am The phycisian that did my procedure made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I did take some prepcedure medications: Ativan 2mg, 1/2 Percocet, phenergan at the beginning of the procedure. Two extra strength Tylenol and a Benedrl one hour before arriving. I was feeling absolutely NO PAIN during or after the procedure. I even fell asleep during the procedure.
After the procedure, I went home (husband drove of course). Once home, I began the vinegar soaks with recovery cream very hour. Also used my saline spray frequently to keep the areas moist. Just a little swelling and redness on the day of the procedure.
Day 1 post treatment: I slept through the night just fine. I took one Benedryl before going to bed and slept with my head elevated and stayed on my back. So now, 23 hours post procedure, I am very dark red and pretty swollen especially around my eyes. This is completely normal, but I encourage all of you to view as many post procedure pictures so you don't get freaked out. More to come!

I was nervous as well. Just be prepared and have all of your post treatment equipment ready. Have extra on hand. You will need lots of wash cloths and fresh pillow cases! It honestly does not hurt - just looks like it does! Good luck and keep us posted.

Yes - have someone you can count on to run to the store if you need it. The last thing I feel like doing is leaving the house. Also, if you have animals that need litter box care, have someone else do it until your skin is healed. Avoid cleaning - dust particles on fresh irritated skin is not good! Do your cleaning beforehand (not that I miss cleaning).

On Day 3 post procedure. (Thursday was procedure and today is Sunday). Well, the worst part of this is the itching, especially at night. I took 25 mg. of Benedryl but only slept a few hours at a time. Almost all of my swelling is gone. Day 2 was the worst swelling under my eyes and cheek areas. I have less dark red color, but still looked "sun burned". My neck is more red than my face which is completely normal. I am continuing the vinegar soaks every two hours with Aquaphor while awake. My skin on my face is shedding with each wash, but not coming off in large sheets. I do not see any shedding on the neck area yet .

Okay, Day 4 since my procedure. I slept so well last night! Finally no itching. I am still dark pink, but I anticipate that will last for quite some time. My skin is very soft and there are still grid lines, but not horrible. I also anticipate that this will take time to fade as the new skin heals over. When I had a test spot done, it took a little over month for the grid lines to disappear. My daughter came over last evening and said that I just looked like I had a bad sunburn.

I am wondering after 7 years are you happy with your results? have you had additional treatments? If so, what kinds?
you are now 3 weeks since last post. How is your skin and do you see vast improvement. Additionally, are you willing to say which doctor you used? thanks!
