Okay, day 6 after my CO2 face and neck…

Okay, day 6 after my CO2 face and neck SmartSkin procedure. My neck is much less red and all peeled. My face looks slightly tan - no redness, no peeling left. I still wash and apply my recovery cream every 2 -3 hours. My skin is very smooth. Aquaphor at night time because it stays on the best and keeps my face/neck moist all night. Honestly, no one would know that I had laser done to my skin at this point - even with no make up on!

55 year old Smart Skin Laser Experience

Thought I would start my journey here to help others. I had Smart Laser CO2 done to my complete face and neck.
My appointment was yesterday at 11:00am The phycisian that did my procedure made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I did take some prepcedure medications: Ativan 2mg, 1/2 Percocet, phenergan at the beginning of the procedure. Two extra strength Tylenol and a Benedrl one hour before arriving. I was feeling absolutely NO PAIN during or after the procedure. I even fell asleep during the procedure.
After the procedure, I went home (husband drove of course). Once home, I began the vinegar soaks with recovery cream very hour. Also used my saline spray frequently to keep the areas moist. Just a little swelling and redness on the day of the procedure.

Day 1 post treatment: I slept through the night just fine. I took one Benedryl before going to bed and slept with my head elevated and stayed on my back. So now, 23 hours post procedure, I am very dark red and pretty swollen especially around my eyes. This is completely normal, but I encourage all of you to view as many post procedure pictures so you don't get freaked out. More to come!
