16 Days Post CO2 Laser

WORTH IT
Years of sun damage had taken its toll on face, neck, but mostly the chest.
I had the Gold Standard CO2 Laser by Lumenis a little over 2 weeks ago.
Still a little early but here is my review thus far. This was performed with other procedures (which I will review separately) under general anesthesia.
Day 1 my skin looked like I had a deep sunburn yet I was in no pain. I was provided with a Laser ointment and cooling gel to apply throughout the day to ensure that that my skin was kept moist at all times
Day 2-5 my skin was a lesser red with some peeling. The sun damaged spots turned brown and there was some swelling. Again no pain. I was provided with a post laser creme.
Day 16 The results so fare are fantastic! Sun damage erased and skin feels smooth, even, and supple. My skin is still pink but the sun damage is erased. I am still early in my recovery and had appointment with their aesthetician Lena. I was provided with a complimentary session, Jane Iredale loose mineral powder/foundation with SPF, Brush and Spray. This will help with the pink fresh skin and healing.
Very important to follow all directions including Sunscreen, Hats,
Looking forward to the next few months to observe more improvements which are in the works under my skin. It will take up to 6 months to see the final results, but at this early stage it is clear it was the right choice.
Highly, and I do mean Highly, recommend this procedure.

Can you please post photos before and after throughout your recovery? I am seriously considering laser resurfacing and live in FL too. Thank you.

I added two pics for you to check out. I prefer not to show my face and will look for before picture of my chest to post.

You're looking great. I understand about not wanting to be "identified" you can black out your eyes and other features that are uniquely yours. It's really helpful to see the progress. :) I want o get the CO2 myself. Thanks!

2 Days after Laser

Here is a pic 2 days post laser. As you can see the skink on my chest, face and neck are super pink. Kept it lathered with post-laser ointment. I gently washed it with gauze 4 -6 times per days. This was far easier that I had expected. I wish I would have done this 10 years ago..I will shortly add another pic 10 days post-laser.

7 days post op

As promised here is a pic 10 days post-op. The skin is still pink with some browns spots sloughing off. This is a huge improvement already-years of sun damage destroyed the skin on my chest. I would wear button-up shirts and turtle necks because I was embarrassed. If I could I would do my arms and legs, that is how significant the improvement is.

Correction, it is in the header of subject on one of her posts. Not sure if it was the original or first one.
