May 27th 2022 my procedure was done. Upper and lower abdominals, back bra roll, hips and chin.

I was originally scheduled for June 3rd- but they had a last minute opening and I was the only patient who had pre-op done and was able to squeeze in! Thankfully I could take the day off work and get subs for my spin classes!!

Rewind to 2017- I had my son in October. I weighed 180ish prior to pregnancy, I had found a new found love for the gym and weight lifting and was in pretty decent shape. However even then I had the subcutaneous belly and bra roll and love handles… and some extra chin material.

After a rough pregnancy with lots of depression, birth by emergency c section I was weighing in at, ding ding ding, 280 pounds. Lost the 30 pounds of preggo weight by Christmas and started gaining. I asked my husband for a gym membership for Christmas and went to town. I was the big girl doing to group fitness classes, I took a class that was similar format to cross fit. I huffed and puffed and sweat. I ate a keto diet, I lost tons of weight and stuck with the exercise regimen. My lowest was 170 with 23% body fat. Still had the pooch, never could see the abs I knew were there. My legs and arms reflected my body composition but never my stomach or waist
By this time I found a love for indoor cycling and one of the instructors at the gym said I should teach… so I took their certification and started teaching in 2019. All the while I worked at home for my husbands plumbing company.

2022 I started a new job for another company and working outside the home, great pay and a whole lot of sitting and driving. I gained weight and exercised less.

I had a consult for sonobello and went for it.

I have lupus and wanted to see if anyone else is having major issues getting rid of the swelling? I’m very content with what procedure already looks like but I have tons of swelling in thighs, around knees, on hips. I had two separate procedures done, first was upper and lower abs and waist. Second was outer, inner and top of thighs and behind knees. Any suggestions? Abs are great except one little bump on side, which I’m using foam on. Still wearing compression 24/7..

Day 1 post op

A lot of pain and bruising. Leaking a lot of fluid out of the incisions on lower back and abdominal. I took my garnet off to use the bathroom and my stomach looks weird AF. I know swelling and fluid retention cause results to look altered at first.

I do want to stress the pain and leaking. It’s intense. I wasn’t fully prepared for that amount of pain. Tons of bruising as well: lol tried posting a photo of me standing but it was too large even after dropping it. My stomach doesn’t look great while standing up but I know it will change a lot when swelling subsides

No pain meds, a whole lot less swelling and can see the change. My garmet is on tightest setting and is more loose.

I have been wearing an ab board and it feels good to have the rigid support on my stomach.
