Smart Lipo 3/6/2019

I had my 7 day follow up on 3/13/19 the nurse checked my incisions they were good she took some pictures and gave me a smaller garment , okay so they didn’t even have a garment for me she gave me what she could find and told me they will mail me one and I should receive in 7-10 business now I’m just going to go buy my own because it’s an inconvenience and totally not worth the wait cause they garments suck no compression at all I had to put on a waist trainer over it I also asked her is there a possibility that my stomach is actually going to be flat when the swelling goes down she said give it about 5-6 weeks is going to go down but is not going to be flat Which is not what I was told on my initial consultation but I guess they just tell u what u want to hear I paid all this money to hear that BS I was not too thrilled I still haven’t even told my close loved ones how much I actually paid cause I’m embarrassed at this point because I could have went somewhere else for way less and a actual flat stomach

That's really unprofessional on their part, good you put them on blast... I'm sorry that you didn't get what you were promised and after so much money... just wanted to say that... hope it gets better, but there is a difference from the before and after

Don’t worry. The swelling takes ages to go. 4 weeks in I was nearly double my original size. I was really worried. I am now over the moon and still have a way to go yet. I am 4 months out. It can take 6 to 12 months for full results so hang in there

There is definitely difference! It’s hard with lipo because they need to leave some fat behind so there are no irregular contours when it heals. I had lipo recently and my stomach is not flat. However, I think I had a separation of my muscles I was born with and I’ve also had two children. Also, if you have visceral fat underneath the muscle they cannot remove that. You are still very early on in the process, you will not see 80% of your results until at least 3 months so do not lose hope!
