"Extremely disappointed with Skin Science Soul by Dr. Sholar. They canceled my appointment and it has now been 35 days without receiving my refund despite multiple attempts to resolve this. Poor customer service and unprofessional handling of cancellations. I cannot recommend this business to anyone when they don't honor their commitments. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere."
I bought a laser hair removal package May 2025, that included 6 sessions. It was explained to me how important it was for me to keep my appointments on my hair growth cycle for my results to be the terminate my hair growth. My first appointment went great. It was 10/10. I was told by Dr. Sholar that the girl I started with was the laser hair removal specialist that I would be with throughout my treatment. At my second appointment, that was not true. I had a different person. It went a little differently but fine. I was treated cordially. Again after my 2nd treatment I scheduled me 3rd appointment on the date recommended by the new esthetician. On the day of my 3rd appointment I got stuck in traffic, like many of us do in Austin, so I called to let them know I would be a few minutes late. The person answering the phone said that they didn't have any laser appointments on the schedule on this day. I said are you sure? And she checked my file. She could see that my appointment had been canceled and told me that their laser person was out of the clinic for the remaining of the week. I asked that when she returned to please have her call so that I could schedule my next appt ASAP. She could also see that no one had reached out to me to reschedule my 3rd appt. Needless to say I was upset. I waited for call to get reschedule and never received one. They have AWFUL Customer Service once they get your money! I have NEVER had any contact from them after they got paid. No one has reached out to get me scheduled again for appointments that they said were so important for my results. They got their Money and Do Not care. They have not contacted me at all. So, I emailed Amy, the person the receptionist suggested. I have requested the money for the services I have not received back and was told it would take 7-10 business days on July 15, 2025. I followed up on July 24, 2025. The only response I received was that they had received it.
