LASER HAIR REMOVAL
$2,500
Hi! So I've been interested in Laser Hair removal for a few years, due to having curly Hair, Ingrowns are major issue! After much research I realized there isn't much information or reviews for this procedure in the Sacramento area.
Since I finally made the decision to get the Procedure, I've decided to document the process so others like myself can have something to reference during their journey.
Feel free to ask me any questions

Okay so I had my Laser Hair removal Service on Monday August 5th. The service was done to my Upper Lip, Chin, Brazilian (Butt strip) and Under arms. Laser Away had a few bundle packages that offered a few discounts.
Upon arrival the Front Desk receptionist were very thorough with advising of what I should expect. Once my RN (I cannot remember her name right now) came out and greeted me, we went back into the room. I was asked a few questions about allergies and products recently used, I was allowed to express any concerns and all of my apprehensions were addressed.
After the formalities, it was time to start!
We started with a test strip on the upper lip, I would describe the first zap as a (Rubber Band Snap) I was allowed to I’ve a signal if the pain was intolerable at any point.
Getting used to the zap was a little shocking, but I usually get my lip threaded so I wold say that it definitely wasn’t worse than threading the upper lip, and the whole procedure was done faster than threading the upper lip.
Once she moved down to my chin, I was becoming used to the “zap” some spots I felt nothing, and others with larger hair follicles, I felt everything. I’d say the worst part was the smell or burning hair, but that’s manageable as well.
Once we moved on to the under arms, the feeling felt new all over again. LOL. But again it’s not too bad, because some spots you feel nothing, towards the middle of the under arm, seemed to be more sensitive.
Then finally, the Vagina! Sheesh ! Lol, that was interesting, now I’m used to getting it waxed, and I also have a Vertical Hood Piercing (so I’m not unfamiliar with discomfort in the area) buuut this was new. Again, the process was pretty fast, and I was allowed to take as many breaks as needed, but honestly after the first few zaps, I needed the least amount of breaks, compared to any other location.
Immediately once we were done, I was given Anti Itch cream (hydrocortisone) and aloe Vera for soothing. I was advised to make sure that I use SPF immediately after, and for the follow up care if I was going to have any area exposed to the sun.
I noticed immediately after service, my skin felt slightly sensitive (Like it was aware that something happened) but not in anyway irritated, swollen or red.
Using the cloth that the Aloe Vera and Hydrocortisone cream were placed on, I wiped off the areas that were service and almost instantly I noticed hair follicles falling off.
I was advised that it takes anywhere from 1-3weeks following each service but you should lose about 10-15% of hair each time.
I am looking forward to seeing my results after each service!!
