Stay Away Genisis by Cutera
I have tried many lasers over the course of the past 16 years. Some facial treatments have little to no noticeable results and others like fraxel or Morpheus are quite dramatic. The only laser I can say I will always stay away from and recommend all my friends and family stay away from us Cutera Genisis laser. I have had two seperate highly reputable dermatology practices here in Manhattan recommend and perform Cutera on my face, and both sessions left me with far more loose skin under my eyes and just below my chin. I also noticed a dear friends eye area looking loose and more wrinkles than normal, she informed me she had done a Genisis after her facial — I had not shared my experience with her at that point.
In my opinion, this laser is absolutely not worth the risk. Instead I would recommend a form of dermarolling either many sessions in a light format, or if needed Morpheus (quite painful + long recovery) or secret RF.
