LaseMD is Not Worth It
I've had fully ablative CO2 laser resurfacing treatments by plastic surgeons Julio Gallo and Adam Rubenstein and nonablative Fraxel by Riverchase Dermatology in Miami. I noticed significant lightening to the melasma on my cheeks in just 1 of those treatments. I went to this office because it is much closer than the Miami offices. Unfortunately, this dermatologist is extremely conservative and the 1 treatment done did nothing. I know that she recommended 3 treatments but I should have seen something. I think that the biggest issue is that although LaseMD has settings from 1-20, a very low setting was used on me. I do not recommend LaseMD or a very conservative approach if you have had previous treatments with stronger lasers melasma. Here are the before and after photos.
