Beyond Thrilled with Lower Facelift & Necklift Results! - Las Vegas, NV

Sorry I've gone awol for a while. I got busy with work and life and I wanted to heal a bit more before posting more photos. The sides of my face (under my cheek bones) is still a little hard, swollen and numb from the lower facelift. The incision marks in front of my ears and behind my ears are barely visible already. The ones in my hairline are still quite red and visible when I put my hair up. Confidence is high that when more time passes the redness will go away and when the hair grows they won't be as visible. I was a little discouraged because I feel like my neck still has quite a few lines in it. I am only one month out of surgery however, so I need to give it some more time to see the final results. Anyhow.... here are some photos of my results One month postop. When I go to the doctor in two weeks I will try to get some better before photos. The ones I posted were actually photos of photos. I'm such a dork I didn't take my own pre-op photos!

I'm going to post photos of my incision sites. Keep in mind that I had a neck lift and lower facelift. I was a bit taken aback when I saw the incisions but when they took the stitches out I realized how clean the incisions were you can barely even see anything. I have only had my front stitches taken out. The ones behind my ear will come out next week. I will post pictures then. His work is so clean and he strategically place is the incisions to where they are barely noticeable.

Had my initial consultation with Dr. Lanfranchi on August 4, 2016. He was the third doctor I consulted with. The last 4 years I have noticed that my jaw had been taking on a square shape. This was due to gravity and loosening of skin. I have also not been happy with the wrinkles on my neck. Dr. Lanfranchi spent plenty of time with me during my consultation and answered all of the questions I had for him. I knew after our consultation that he was the doctor I would go with when I decided to have my surgery. The great thing about him is that he only works on faces. That is his specialty. He doesn't work on a ton of other body parts. Just the face! So he is an expert in this! I booked my surgery for Oct. 19th. Started taking Arnica a week before surgery. Also stopped drinking alcohol and reduced the amount of caffeine I drink. I wanted to heal quickly so I really prepared myself. I picked up my prescriptions and the day before surgery. I was instructed to take 3 diazepam 30 minutes before arrival at the clinic. Got to the clinic for surgery at 8am and we started right away. I was numbed with local anesthetic which was not the least bit painful. The entire procedure took a little under two hours. I felt absolutely no pain whatsoever. I was initially nervous about this as it was done under local anesthesia not general. Which actually worked out way better for me as recovery was much quicker. After surgery Ryan (doctors assistant) wrapped my head with gauze & a compression wrap and I went home.

Pain was very minimal. I only took 2 painkillers in total. Then a few Tylenol. I slept with my head propped up to help with swelling. Applied the ice pack they gave me and was able to eat & drink normally.

Went back to the clinic 24 hours later to have my gauze and wrap changed and so the doctor could make sure everything was Ok. Everything was looking good and I was told I could remove that wrap in 24 hours at home.
