Trying to decide if the massaging and breast pump are helping. I can feel the scar tissue teathered to ? the muscle maybe. I see the PS tomorrow.

Three weeks post and not thrilled.
I have been massaging. I have been using a manual breast pump as suggested by my PS. The scar tissue is winning. I can't exersize and it seems the rest of me is falling apart too. Okay enough about me. I am happy to be implant free :) It can only get better, right?!?

I'm about to join you sweetheart!... You keep on doing what you're doing...I'm also gonna try a cream called naturaful...hope it works, the Youtube people that have used it say it does... I'm sorry you lost tissue, I will too, since ones ruptured, I just hope I'm nice n symmetrical like you! :) It takes time to fluff apparently, like 6 months to a year...give them time... ;) xxxx

can you start to do light exercise like maybe going for walks? it might help the mood to get out and do something. sorry you are getting frustrated, but i agree with others. it seems to take months for the results to improve at the point you are at. i know it's hard being patient, and i'm sure i will be the same way!!!!

The first couple of weeks are the hardest. Just keep thinking that every day it will get a little better! I started walking at around 3 weeks and it did help me feel a little better. I think your pictures are looking better too! [RS bleep]

Im 18 months post explant and I have scar tethering. I think yours will get better in time. I had a consult today to fix the tethering with fat transfer so that may be an option for you! Which breast pump are you using?

I am using a Medela manual pump and it seems to be working (i can clearly see the pulling) . I've just started to get aggresive with it in the last couple of days. Tomorrow marks one month for me and I am finaly not tender to the touch. I have really no tissue below the nipple and plan on talking to my PS about fat transfer in a year if my result doesn't improve. Will your doc release the scar tissue?

Good for you! Had mine taken out 4 years ago, one of the best decision I've made. Mine were making me look 'matronly'. And not buttoning up jackets, ugh. Its so nice to look normal. Wish I had never done it. Ended up a C cup but that was just getting older fat in the breasts. Last fall, someone thought I was 48 and I'm 63!

Day 12
I'm not seeing much improvement. Three days without compression. I don't have enough tissue for a "aa" cup. You can still see and feel the space where the implants rested. Still sore and sensative to the touch. The silicone implants were removed through insisions below my nipples. Those stittches will desolve on their own eventually. 10 years ago i have "textured" saline implants replaced with this second set. Some of the very little tissue I had came out with those implants. I'm hopeful that next weeks update photo will be and improvement. Really Greatful for all your stories on here.

You are still very early in your recovery. From looking at pictures on this site, it seems if you have your explant through the areola incision it seems to take longer for the breast to retract and fill in, but it does! Eat a lot of protein too! This helped me! Try to be patient because you have a great shape to them already...they just need some time to fluff a little!

wot Julie5555 said! ... I second that!... It's traumatic for them, there's been tissue damage, I'm going to try a cream called naturaful..it's proven to produce new Breast tissue and has worked even on a man... Perhaps order some n the massage will be good for them too by the time it arrives aye?!... At least you know you're better off than me, swimming in silicone n now it looks like we can't afford to go private, so may have to wait on the public system, let's hope I don't end up with a lifelong illness from it... I'm so worried right now, and sooo wanna cry n make a time machine!! ... Your shape is fantastic, time is te ultimate healer... [RS bleep]

I will look into the cream. Try contacting the implant manufacturer with a letter and your test results, they may help with the cost, worth a shot. Be squeeky you know how the saying goes "the squeeky wheel gets the grease"

Hehe cool idea, but manufacturer is me other than the (now I know to be) pip famous ones from France...which got shut down n went bankrupt so I heard?... Anyway, public health will cover, of acc possibly... Otherwise mortgage to get a huge hiking implant! :/

Even if it takes more time for us to drop and settle I think in the end it will be totally worth it. It's just the waiting period that's so hard right now. Have you asked your surgeon about doing breast massage yet? I think that will help loosen up some of the tissue and help it all settle to the bottom. If you're still unhappy in a year there's always fat transfer!

They are so tender that i know i have a long way to go. I'll see my PS again this Wednesday and ask about massage. You are so right!

baby steps! at least you are on the road to recovery now!!! i'm so excited to be where you are. keep us posted what your ps says on wednesday. :-)

Your results look a lot like mine. I think I have about the same amount of breast tissue as you. Mine look more saggy though because my PS didn't recommend compression and my saggy capsules haven't retracted very well. Mine were under the muscle and I had a capsulectomy. I'm at six weeks and will be posting an update this week. We just need to be patient. I know how hard that is :). As my PS pointed out to me - the healing process is a marathon, not a sprint. I just keep thinking that I won't make any judgments on my results for 6 months. Come on July!!
