I have wanted breast augmentation for years! After (years) of thinking about it, researching doctors, reading reviews, looking at photos, I finally had the chance to actually do it! You would think I would have been about ready to burst with excitement - however, while I was excited, I also got really nervous. I wanted to make sure I made all the right decisions! I found Dr.Khorsandi on RealSelf and really liked his before and after photos - I booked my first consultation with him. I also booked other consultations through doctors I had found online.
At my initial consultation, Dr.Khorsandi set the bar very high - he was very thorough and also really put me at ease. Like I mentioned earlier, while I was really excited about finally getting the opportunity to actually go through with a breast augmentation, I was also full of jitters!!! He uses a 3-D Vectra system at his office to help you visualize your results - it's pretty neat. After a very informative appointment, my husband and I left feeling pretty confident with Dr.Khorsandi!
Anyhow, while I did wind up going on another consultation, I was really already sold on Dr.Khorsandi as my husband and I really liked him and agreed with his augmentation plan.
So - back to my anxiety...when I went back to Dr.Khorsandi's office to schedule my surgery and pay, I was questioning whether or not the implants we had decided on were really what I wanted after all!! I was a little concerned about going to big, was the profile the right choice, was it going to give me the look I desired?! As soon as I voiced my concern, Dr.Khorsandi brought me back and basically did another consult on me - down to the 3-D imaging! And I'd like to add this was on a Friday afternoon, rolling into Memorial Day weekend! That really made a world of difference to me - Dr.Khorsandi really made me feel that I was a top priority and it was important to him that I got exactly what I wanted! After booking my surgery I was given Catherine's (assistant) cell number and told I could call or text her with any questions I ever had - it was nice to know I could get quick answers if I needed them. That did come in handy after surgery when I needed a prescription refill - it was taken care of immediately, even though Dr.Khorsandi was out of town!
I had my surgery on June 17 - and since then I've had 2 post-op appointments. So far, so good! Unfortunately, even plastic surgery isn't instant gratification - I know I still have a few more weeks to go until I actually get to see my final results, but I'm confident it's going to look great! The incision site (inframammary) already looks pretty good, I didn't have any significant bruising, and there has already been notable improvement in the last week and a half!
I'm definitely pleased with my entire experience with Dr.Khorsandi and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

Congratulations! Glad you are happy with your results so far and that you felt comfortable enough with your PS to you could overcome your anxiety about the procedure. What was your pre op cup size? And what type/size implants did you get? Thank you for sharing your experience on RealSelf!
You're right, it's so important to get properly measured and fitted once in a while as our bodies change over time. Did you not need a lift? Most women find the 3 month mark to be closest to their final results. Keep us posted!
