I have been wanting to do the procedure for as long as I could remember! My breasts have always been so small that wearing bras and bathing suits was so uncomfortable and embarrassing. Even shopping was an awful experience. Finding shirts I liked that fit right was a process, and even those were uncomfortable. I am so happy I decided to finally do it. I am so happy with my results. I was very scared of going too big or too small at first, but Dr Richards & his staff helped me pick the perfect size. I couldn't be happier! I cannot wait to get into a bathing suit :)

I am in a very similar situation to you. I was a very small A cup and also have a small frame. My surgeon performed the operation 5 days ago and I now have B/C cup breasts. The top portion of the breast is fullest (I think my muscles are pushing them right up!) so I'm hoping the compression bandage will help them to relax and drop in time. Did you also have under the muscle?
How is your pain?
Were you told to massage the breasts at all?

Yes, I got mine under the muscle as well. I have very little pain at all. I got my surgery last Wednesday, 10/14, and by Saturday I was able to stop all of the pain meds. I occasionally get some shooting pain from my armpit, but the nurses said the is normal nerve rejuvenation. And yes, they said to massage as much as I can. I also flip my sports bra up so the band part helps push them down. I will upload a more recent picture later tonight. They have already seemed to drop a bit.

That's good to hear, mine aren't dropping at all but I've mailed my clinic some pictures so hopefully they will call me in if they think I have a problem.
Great tip about flipping the band up to help encourage the implants down, thank you!
My pain is much better today but still pretty sore, especially around the ribs and under arms. The surgeon did warn me I'd have pain though because I'm a fitness instructor and my pectorals were so tight in the first place!
What massage are you doing? How 'rough' can you be?!

Yeah, try flipping the bra up! My Dr. told me anything helps. I will even do it while I am at work sitting at my desk (under my shirt of course) or when doing my hair and makeup in the morning, etc. For massages I do the push them together, push them apart, push them up and down. My Dr. said to make sure you feel the implants moving. He also said going without a bra as much as possible will help.

My pain really isn't too bad any more. My left breast is the only one that hurts sometimes and it is like a shooting pain from the armpit to the nipple which the said is the nerves. It only really happens when I wake up and before bed. I think my left breast was smaller before and the muscle is having a harder time adjusting.

Interesting... My left breast hurts most too from the armpit but I figured it was because I'm left handed and the muscles were stronger that side!
I will definitely try the massage- my surgeon told me it wasn't necessary but I don't think it can hurt. I am a remedial massage therapist so I know techniques and to avoid veins etc.
It's great to talk to someone who started out as small as me.
I'm already so pleased I took this step. Like you, I hated wearing swim wear and I could never get pretty underwear because it is all made for women with something to put in the bra cup!
My husband can already tell I am more confident.
I hope you also feel a million dollars now!

I do! So happy I finally did it. I am so happy for you too. It has been nice chatting with you and getting to know your experience.

Same here.
I'm too shy to put up my own blog on here so thank you for letting me talk to you on yours!

What size type etc did you go
October 20, 2015
I got the Mentor Silicone implants. I couldn't decide between 355cc & 375cc because I was too scared of going too big or too small. So my Doctor tried both on my while I was in surgery and ended up going with the 375cc's. Very glad I went a little bigger!

I posted some new photos that I took this morning (1 week post op). They seem to have dropped a bit and not as swollen. My left one definitely is more of the problem child though haha.
