2 weeks!

$6,500
I'm at 2 weeks post op. These are some pictures taken in the past week. I'm currently on antibiotics for possible infection. The left breast continues to be more discolored, swollen hard and painful. It is, however, much much better than it was a few days ago (the last pic is from today).
Man, they're big. :(
I am pretty pleased about only needing to wear bralettes though!

How are you doing pain wise? Are you still in FL? The scars look superior!
The pain is almost entirely gone. The incisions are healing well. Better than I was expecting considering what I've seen in most reviews. No splitting or anything. I need to post new pictures because just in the past couple days they've greatly improved. Tuesday will be 3 weeks post op. I left FL one week after surgery.
Cant wait to see your pictures. Glad you are doing so well!
How are you doing?
Doing well!! I'm off the pain meds. The bruising is going away quickly. Everything is softening up.
I'm also scared about mine being too big still after surgery, my date is march 17th (luck of the irish for good results??:)) but we also have similar frames, little waists and big boobs! But you do have a lot of swelling and I hope that you're happy after all heeled and your breasts have dropped. My PS was very honest with me and said I will most likely be a D post op, getting me to a C would compromise fullness and a nice round shape. I think you're going to be wonderfully shapely when all is said and done and your breasts have an amazing shape already!!
I tried on a 36D bra today and it was too big! I'm happy. :)
Hope your feeling better and thanks for sharing the update!
What's your size following the procedure

WOW you look fantabulous!! Looks like you are healing really well at 1 week out. Good for you! SO excited for you and for me -1 month to go!
Wow! Looks like you got great results! Your post is giving me hope because I'm 5 days post and swear I'm like a DD. I asked for small C or full B. I know they are swollen but I can't imagine they are a full 2 cup sizes swollen!
You look amazing! Don't you like the look like you are wearing a bra without having one?
Yes!!! Omg! Like pin-up boobs! I'm SO glad you posted your review. I might be sitting here with an awful hack job had I not seen it.
I know!! I've seen SUCH cases online that make you think twice before having a BR...
You look amazing! Gorgeous! Hope you feel the way you look!:-) Thank you for sharing!
Thank you!!
They look great! Perfect size, perfect shape! So happy you got such great results!

The first few days of pain

I've been quiet for the past few days. I've just been lying down in excruciating pain, bleeding, making a red mess on white towels, and taking so much Percocet that I didn't feel human. When I woke up today, my pain level was somewhere between uncomfortable and annoying so I stopped taking pain meds.

I love that my boobs are smaller but I'm kind of upset that they're so big. I think the doctor did a beautiful job with their shape and symmetry but they're still too big. As you might have read in my first entry, I also had implants that needed to be removed. This was mainly just a breast implant removal with a lift and not a true breast reduction. I had a whole lot of natural breast tissue. I was told to expect Cs and what are these? DD? DDD??!
I know they are still very swollen so I am trying to stay positive. Ds wouldn't be so bad, I guess.
Either way, a great improvement from what I had!!!

Thank you so much for the update! Sorry to hear you are in so much pain, BUT, i'tell you girl, your boobs look gorgeous!!! Already! Great shape! OMG, the pain is worth it! It will subside and you will be in amazing shape! So thrilled for you! And for me, since I am going to the same doctor in June! :-) again, sweetie, thank you for taking your time a righting this update! Speedy recovery! Galina
Thank you!! He is a real artist! I haven't seen a bad looking job from him at all!!
Yes, absolutely! I am sure you will feel better every day, and the fact that you travelled out of state, will be well worth it. I think it was very good decision! Your boobs shape is perfect! Before I say good night, I want to mention, eat a lot of pineapple, people say it really helps with swelling. Many thanks for keeping us posted! Galina
Sorry you are in such pain. I am sure that they are just swollen-so don't worry. I think you look great! Try the Bromelain-they say that really helps with swelling. Im really watching what is going on with your posts and reading them like a novel! I have about a month left and you and I are quite alike in our frames and in that I have implants in as well. Keep your chin up and try and rest. Your humor is a good sign. I showed my husband your pictures and he says that your after pictures make him feel tons better. He thinks your after look better and certainly more proportional. Im hoping he feels that way about mine as well. My husband is a surgeon so he sees boobs all day usually they are older boobs like 70 year old boobs!!! Ha Just didn't want you thinking I was showing your boobs around to everyone. Hope the pain lessens. Thank you so much for all your posts!!!
Lol. I don't care if you showed him. These reviews are shared to give you and your family an idea of what to expect. I will check out that bromelain stuff and let you know! Thanks!!
Thanks
you look great there is still a lot of swelling at this stage I hope you are happy with your end result a c is just perfect I think
Hang in there!! Stay positive. I would say the implant removal is what complicates things a little bit, adds more uncomfortable feeling and swelling. I think Dr. Krau with his experience in Breast Augmentation knows what to expect in terms of post op removal swelling. These tissues have to grow back together, I guess. I did not have implants and my case was much smaller than yours, but nevertheless I found the recovery process WAAAAY much longer than a c-section, for example. But it's all worth it.
Hi hon! I think you look amazing! Dr. Krau is doing my surgery at the end of the month and hope my results look as good as yours. Swelling will subside soon. Remember we all recover at different rates. I had a tt in 2005 and that was far worse than what I'm expecting for the augmentation and lift. But so well worth it! Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
