My nose is completely healed and this surgery is one of the best life decisions I’ve ever made. Dr Khorsandi gave me the incredible, natural result I dreamed of. I can answer any questions you guys have in the comments.

How long would you say it took for swelling to go down?? I had rhinoplasty about 3 months ago and had a bulbous tip correction and while my nose looks overall smaller it still looks puffy and swollen?

I would say about 6 months is where I personally didn’t think my nose was puffy/swollen at all anymore. Then 9 months - a year is when the tip started to look really refined. Almost like the finer details came out, if that makes sense. I have thick/oily skin so i was told I wouldn’t see the full change until a year or even 18 months. That is definitely the case for me because even now my nose looks even better in pictures than it did 10-12 months post op. Good look and be patient!

Are people able to notice that you had a rhinoplasty? Or is it more like you look different but, I can’t tell what looks different?

The swelling in my face is completely gone and my nose looks better and better each day. I LOVE the difference it's made in my overall look.

The swelling inside my nose has gone down for the most part. I have a humidifier in my room to keep it moist at night, but I only use my Simply Saline spray once a day now.

The skin on my nose is pretty much back to normal. I've been getting little pimples in the crease of my nostrils, but I figure those pores will resolve themselves soon.

Dr. Khorsandi is amazing! At my follow up today he said the tip of my nose will continue to feel hard (almost rubbery due to scar tissue) up to a year or so as it continues to heal. The numbness in my tip is almost completely gone and when I look in the mirror I feel like I have the perfect nose for my face. :)

I'm IN LOVE with the way my nose completely harmonizes with my face. Even with the little bit of swelling I have, I am 100% ecstatic with my choice to do the surgery. Not even two weeks post op and I'm amazed with the result. :D

It looks beautiful! Love how natural it looks. Do you think it has to do with the fact you didn't mess with the nostril widths? I'm rethinking if I should include alarplasty. Thanks for sharing! Also was the total cost inclusive of any deviated septum work or just the cost of the hump removal and tiplasty?

He actually did bring in my nostrils a bit to make the base less wide! It's a little hard to see with the swelling but the width was brought in to be more proportional to the width of my eyes. I have a straight septum so the $9500 was for lowering my bridge, reducing the bulbous tip, some defatting of the tip skin, bringing in the nostrils, and tilting the tip up slightly. He also put a strut in underneath to keep the tip from drooping and put some of the removed cartilage back into my tip for more definition. Lots of steps for a subtle and still ethnic result!

Thanks for the info! Wow i couldn't tell he moved your nostrils, it's probably bc of swelling. That's a good thing, the subtlety it's apparent but still can't put my finger on it. Bravo!

Also also, lol did he include osteotomies? That's when the bones of the bridge are broken to create a narrow bridge.

He did. My bridge was slightly skewed to the left so he straightened and narrowed it by removing some of the nasal bone. The narrowing was to prevent the "open roof" effect after lowering the bridge.
