Life changing experience.

Where do I start. I am a mother of 1, my son is 12 years old. After all these years of debating with the mirror and fighting the battle of acceptance, I decided to take one of the biggest decisions of my life and change the way I was feeling. Before anything let me clarify I was 210 lbs when I gave birth to my beautiful child, and lost all the weight. It didn’t bother me at the beginning, but after years go by and your kids get older you start paying more attention to yourself. After carefully contemplating the idea and doing the research I became very stressed. In the city of 24 hour life and luxury, where doctors are known to work for the money and the competition thrives to win, my stress level was off the roof, not to mention the emotional changes you go through when you put your mind on this type of decision. I have visited 5 Plastic Surgeons in the Valley, exhausted because I never felt 100% convinced by their genuinely approach. I decided to visit Dr. Zimmerman which was not on my list but his office was right across from my work. I took my lunch and went to visit him. Wow, all I can say is Wow, wow from the cleaness and professionalism of the office staff, the way they treated me from day one, from the moment to take the uncomfortable pictures from the before, to making me feel comfortable, to meeting Dr. Zimmerman, the first honest, most understanding and genuine surgeon I have ever met. He not only listened to my request but also suggested what was needed and NOT needed to get done, most surgeons will do anything to get paid, but Dr. Zimmerman gave me a sense of security. It is not only about the “Suggestions” that a doctor gives you, this is the most important decision for Moms and Woman in general, you are changing your body, for better or worse, you become a new person on the outside, you will change completely! And he was definitely the perfect person that I knew I could trust to put me to sleep (Amanzingly not under full anestesia for this tummy procedure, which I didn’t feel a thing), to cut me, to put me back together and most importantly to provide the results I wanted. Now it wasn’t easy to remove the garnment and not see results 100% at that moment, other procedures are taking place for me to be there, but the beauty of this office is the fact that they understand and listen to you, even if you have to cry about your “Not happy yet looks”. They know the process, they are professionals but are also willing to provide that compassion because they understand what you are going through, Dr. Zimmerman and the staff are my new family and I would recommend anyone and everyone to come here.
