600cc Ultra High Profile Under the Muscle-2 Days Pre-op So Nervous

I have decided on 600 cc's vs the 650 the surgeon...
$6,201
I have decided on 600 cc's vs the 650 the surgeon recommended. I think that's high enough to not have size regret, yet just a touch smaller than the size that my mind thought was huge.
I have everything prepared for after the surgery. Pillows, all of my medications are filled, the refrigerator is filled with food that is easy to prepare for my teenager. I have a lot of comfortable clothes the only thing I need to get are workout bras, but I will wait until after the surgery to do that.
I went back and forth on the sizing within the last 2 weeks I think sometimes when you read too much information it makes it much more difficult to decide and feel comfortable with your decision. But after much thought and talking to people that I knew that experienced it I have decided on the 600cc option. I'm nervous about how I handle the pain. Everyone is different and I have found some people thought it was so extremely painful for several days after and some people who said it was not. I think I'm most worried about going under. I don't do well with anesthesia nor do I do with narcotic pain medication so I will be probably using all of the nausea medication that was prescribed.
Earlier in the week I went through my closet throwing away some of the stuff I know I for sure could not wear afterwards and just looking at everything trying to see if I would be able to fit into it afterwards... it almost felt nostalgic, like I was sad to see that part go. I was excited to see how I'd look in some of the tops that I didn't fill out well before.
My mind is constantly on this. 2 more days! My sister is flying in from California tomorrow afternoon. One thing that did happen last week is the blood test results that the physician took in the office came back with some high results they didn't tell me what was high but they sent me to an actual outside laboratory so I am kind of nervous that they might cancel the surgery on Monday until whatever is going on with my high results gets resolved. I'm pretty sure it will be fine. I think I might have just been dehydrated so that is the one thing that I am waiting to hear from the doctor's office tomorrow I will be calling them the minute that they open in the morning, LOL.

Don't be! Hopefully, you will just have muscle tightness and spasms to deal with, little to no pain! :-)

Thank you. That helps. I just tried on some tops and took before pics in them. Then got my things ready for the surgery center tomorrow. Excited again!

I am going through the same thing you described, I'm 5'4 and the big day is tomorrow, 12/14/16 -- I was agonizing over 580 vs. 550, I have a pretty small frame, and the more I read, the more difficult it became and I almost wanted to reschedule (but no way, LOL).
I hope everything went great today, can't wait to hear once you're feeling up to it!

Day of surgery
Woke up yesterday with a headache and nausea. I rarely get headaches or nauseated. After getting my compression stockings on and the IV the nausea and headaches got worse. Got into the operating room and had to be unhooked just to sit up and ended up dry heaving for several minutes. Both the PS and the Anesthesiologist decided to reschedule the surgery just in case I had a bug. I was disappointed but agreed I should err on the side of caution. It's now scheduled for tomorrow at 3:30. Ladies make sure you accurately communicate with your doctor's should you feel sick in any way. It's important to a good outcome. My doctor was very understanding. I'm excited again and looking forward to tomorrow. I looked at Kohl's today to see if they had bras and zip up sports bras in the size I'm guesstimating and they had very unflattering ones in those sizes. If anyone knows of a good store to shop at for DD+ size bras please let me know.

Good luck! You seem to be very positive in light of the rescheduling, my boyfriend seemed to be getting sick a couple days leading up to my surgery and I was worrying a lot about getting sick and having to cancel, so I can relate! Awesome that it's hopefully today, best of luck and can't wait to hear how it goes!

I am so sorry to hear, hope everything settles down for you ASAP!! If you think anxiety or nerves might be contributing to stomach upset, let them know, they can give you something the take that edge off before you get your actual anesthesia, and they will take that into consideration for your actual anesthesia, they are very adept at customizing it nowadays. And if nausea is an issue due to sensitive stomach for any reason, tell them, there are two major meds used to combat nausea - Phenergan works better for some people than Zofran. I get very sick from anesthesia, I let them know up front, and I only knew from past experience that Zofran did not work for me. They were great and incorporated Phenergan in. Just be up front with them if it is anxiety, nerves, sensitivity to the meds, they can do many great things, and they do not want you to be sick any more than you want to be sick! :-) Good luck!!

Thank you so much for that. Your friend took the edge off the nausea but it did not completely take it away. The surgery went ahead on Thursday I woke up perfectly fine with no headache and no nausea. I am now on day 2.5 of recovery. Other than the sutures, and internal one on the right side ripping a little bit and causing some severe stinging and burning, I am doing good they look amazing already I can't imagine how it's going to look when they drop and settle!

I would love to see a pic! I got 580's, was worried about them being too big, well I will say that I do love them but also, they are Quite Big!!! :o Still adjusting. I'm so glad that you're around my size, and you had the same concerns as I did in the beginning about sizes. <3 take care!!

I went 500cc's, I gave the doc discretion on size and instructions on shape and silhouette, I thought the same initially when he told me 500 after surgery, but he was spot on!!

Day 3
23. I think I tore an internal suture so my right breast Burns and stings very badly so in order to walk around and do things I have to hold it firmly with my hand. Other than that so far the progress is coming along well they're very big but I love them so far.

Bloat seemed to go quickly with a little Senekot (sp?), if that's what they reccomended, and moving around.
