Tomorrow is the Big Day! -Las Cruces, NM

Tomorrow is the big day for me. I am nervous and excited all at the same time.

I am 5'3 and weigh 135. I have always exercised but my tummy was something I always struggled with .I finally got the nerve to make an appointment with the doctor. As he examined my tummy he said.."well you are small..your not fat, you just have extra skin hanging." At that point I wanted to record what he said. Someone siad I was not fat?? and it was a doc! Haha How about that? Still didnt change how I felt about myself so decided to go on the flat side.
I am scheduled for tomorrow morning. Hoping I come out of there okay. Thoughts of never waking up from the surgery scare me but have looked up statistics and the possibility is very low.
Okay will keep you posted as to how it all turns out!

So I had my tummy tuck w lipo in back and sides plus muscle repair. I hate the way I am feeling. Its been about 12 hours since surgery and I feel like I am going to die. I could not pee so they sent me home w a catheder. The catheter is what makes me want to die. So ladies make sure you pee.. I tried for 3 hours and nothing. So catheder it was! Any movement down there and it makes me want to not move at all. Pain pump does not seem to be working like I expected. Haven't started any any medications until tomorrow morning. I keep asking myself if this pain is ever going to go way. I feel like crying but my abdomen hurts to even do that. I do have a lot of drainage coming out of my incisions and that is due to the lipo!! All I can say is wow! It hurts all over. It is 1am and still cant sleep. Wonder if this is normal? I thought I was going to sleep all day today but im still up from the surgery.
I will give an update after I go get this stupid catheter removed.

Finally got my catheter removed yesterday morning. I have a pain pump but does not provide much relief for me. I am in need of assistance for getting out of my chair. This is very hard for me. I go see doc today dor follow up.
