WORTH IT
I am so excited and nervous at the same time. The thing that makes me the most nervous is my stomach being more noticeable once the distraction is gone, but oh well... maybe it will force me to finally lose some much needed weight. It was very difficult getting an appointment, but I finally got it.
Before and after pics to follow.

Hi
Had my surgery April 1 and I can assure you you ARE bloated!! I did not think I was but now 7 days in what a difference-and oh boy did I pee like crazy for three days til all those fluids were out. So don't worry- it will all fix itself honest! You look great - I was so scared of this surgery and I feel fine just a week out . My thoughts are with you as you heal this week. Take care

That's great to hear. Feeling good in a week? That is exciting to hear. Thank you for the warm wishes.

It's not all you, most of it is the "post-surgery bloat". Congrats! Pending insurance approval, my BR surgery is scheduled for May 17th.

Thank goodness. Good luck with getting your approval. I had no issues with that.

Hi Ladies,
Sunshine, good luck with your surgery! Princess, I am in the process of trying to get insurance approval through Kaiser. I have an appointment with my primary care physician on Monday. I am crossing my fingers that the insurance will approve and I won't have any issues but any advice you can offer to get approval would be appreciated. Do you have Kaiser insurance? I also wonder if they will cover a breast lift along with the reduction, or just the lift.

I have kaiser. My doctor asked me about my neck, shoulder and back. Which I did have pain in, she gave me exercises to do and then a ref to the PS. And yes they covered the reduction and I got a lift.

Thanks 1Barbie. Still waiting on approval... I'd also mention under-boob rashes (intertrigo), headaches, and even numbness in hands and fingers. I noticed that happens to me sometimes.

Thanks! I had my appointment with Dr. Chang last Wednesday and a 2nd opinion with Dr. Nguyen today. Both said I am good to go and should schedule surgery so I presume that means no additional approval from Kaiser is needed.
Now, I just need to decide which doctor to go with and schedule a surgery date. I can't find many reviews on either doctors but definitely more on Dr. Chang. Has anyone used Dr. Nguyen? She has less experience then Dr. Chang but I do like her bedside manner. Both doctors use the anchor procedure but Dr. Nguyen said she takes tissue and puts it at the top of the breast so it is fuller vs putting in at the bottom.

Oh WOW! How are you feeling? I'm scheduled for my procedure April 20th. I feel the same as you; excited and nervous! I guess that's a bit normal.
Prayerfully you are on your way to a perky, speedy recovery.

Took off the dressing yesterday.

Took off my dressing. I was so scared it was gonna hurt. Afterward I was afraid to take a shower, but it all went well. The only issue in having at the moment is a rash that I got from taking the prescribed antibiotics. I called they said to stop taking it.

You looking really good. Congratulations, brave woman. Welcome to the smaller side!

They look pretty good. I had Dr. Chang also but we got to do a round 2 in June to fix all the things that went wrong. Happy healing and enjoy the smaller side of bra wearers.

In my pics you see how huge thise things were. So they took about 6lbs each side but he didn't lipo or remove any from under the arms causing the dog ears and that part of the breast was still heavy causing the breast to reopen and all that Sui heavy tissue to drop . The pics where they reopened.also the way he closed them are the way they're shaped kind of like man boobies.
