21 Year Old, No Kids, Ready to Be Sleeved - Lanham, MD

I'm doing really well and I've lost 10lbs post op. I think I might have stalled though? Not sure, the scale I have is really inaccurate so I need another. I'm looking into starting at a gym until school starts back up and I get my membership back.

I'm eating really well, I'm on the soft food diet so far. Drinking has been a struggle though. I originally was drinking really well in the hospital but wen I got home it got harder. I just haven't wanted to drink.

Other than that I've been going really well.

My mom says I'm the only one who's super excited to have surgery ???? I had my surgery yesterday. I'm only on the clear liquid diet but I truly believe all of this was worth it. I'm still in the hospital and I haven't been told when I'm being released. Anyways my nurses have been AMAZING, though one did tell me I wasn't allowed to drink yesterday. He corrected it later when he told me I was on a clear liquid diet. So today when they just came to draw blood my blood wouldn't flow properly because I didn't have enough fluid. I tried but I didn't have a large window of time to drink

Liquid diet has sucked for me. I'm pushing through though. My protein powder didn't ship until after the holiday so I haven't had much. I luckily had some samples left though. I'm not sure if some of the soup I have honestly qualifies for the diet. It says broths and soups free of solids but it's not a clear liquid diet. No cream based soups though. I had split pea the other day and it was so good. I would definitely get more of that but I'm not sure if it counts.

I'm still really excited for surgery though. I've lost around 30-ish pounds coming into the liquid diet. Looking forward to more
