Dr. Pilotras did the surgery last Tuesday and Wednesday. First day removed the cancer. Got it all the first. He said margins were great. Next day reconstructive surgery. Have spent most of my life outside as charter boat captain. When I took the compression bandage off the next day, I thought I had been in a fight with a scalpel. I guess I was. What a mess, I thought. Not so. This is the way your ear looks after reconstructing what was removed. Itches, some discomfort, some redness, and tender to the touch. I guess this will last a short while. Will update as time goes on.
