2 weeks 3 days post op

Feeling pretty good....woke up this morning with significantly less swelling. Finally seeing the light again... Felt not much progress or change for 5 days or so then finally I think I can safely say it's getting better each day. Still can't stand up straight but got all stitches out and released for part time work okay to start standing straight and increase activity. Doctor said don't increase heart rate. Couldn't help it though. .. had to have sex...lol.

1 week post op

Thus tummy Tuck has been the hardest thing I've ever had to go through and i have definitely had some rough days enduring the pain and constipation which ended up with me throwing up which was horrible. I did give birth 3 times Vaginally but I did have pain meds and epidural with all of them during birth but I had 10 pound babIes...this is way worse.
during the first few days I was taking too many pain pills as many as i could and I felt like I was Wonder Woman I got a reality check the weekend after my surgery I had surgery on Wednesday and on Sunday still has not pooped. I know gross and TMI but I think this needs to be talked about I was taking the softeners and milk of magnesia as my doctor suggested but still nothing and if you keep putting food in and taking meds and nothings coming out eventually you get sick and trust me when you're in this condition throwing up is the worst thing that you can do but only happen once and after that I got things started moving so sunday was the worst day by far so that was 4 days. My mom made me a fruit concoction of plums apricot cherries cooked with lemon peel and I've been eating about a half a cup of that a day ever since and along with keeping up on the other regiments and that has been able to relieve the constipation. that is another thing that should be mentioned is extremely difficult to go to the bathroom even P that I would spend 15 minutes trying to go trying to muster up the courage to push and then have to rest and push again there's no constant flow going on the first four days for sure it was extremely difficult to even P Yet alone to try to go number 2....even tougher.
I recently had a good doctor visit yesterday got my drain out which was disgusting and so that felt like a big achievement and they took out most my stitches on my face shoulder from from moles i had removed as well as from around my belly button for the most part except for a little section on the bottom that still needs to heal a little bit and they gave me some cream to assist with that. overall the doctor said that I look really great that I have the appearance most people do at 2 week post op appointment so that was made me feel pretty good there's definitely been some days when I have been thinking why the f*** did I do this. I would describe how my midsection feels as kind of alien.. when I look at it almost looks plastic it feels like I have something wrapped around my body binding it and I don't and it feels like all those muscles have had the hardest workout of their life hunched over cannot stand upright still and I'm experiencing a lot of lower back pain because of that my doctor does not want me to attend stand upright and want me to stay hunched over and baby the belly for at least another week until my next appointment overall. There is a significant amount of numbness. I'm very happy with the results but this is definitely trying process to go through...i have ups and downs ...emotionally it's a lot to handle.
