I am a 32 year old business owner, and I do not take decisions this large lightly. However, after deciding to undergo this procedure, I wanted to ensure that I was only doing it once-and getting the absolute best result. I stumbled onto Dr. Horndeski using this site, and decided to see him as well as another plastic surgeon. Just the same as I am sure anyone else reading this, viewing his images, and wondering why his results are so much better than any other reduction out there- I had my doubts. I met with Dr. Horndeski and took some time to understand his method. He is an engineer by trade, and comes across that way. Much more of a math guy, than the marketing machine you expect to get with a plastic surgeon which explained a lot to me. Again, I saw his images and even after talking with him, I was still cautious. If this procedure is so different and great, why isn't everyone doing it?? Just so as it happens, my best friend is a nurse. In nursing school she did a lot of research on the first heart transplant and the difficulty in our society and modern day medicine for a new technique to be developed and accepted. We talked in depth about it, and she sees first hand how set in their ways doctors are, and how difficult change can be. Obviously in being a best friend she didn't want to push me too hard in one direction of the other, but she did give me the confidence I needed to no longer doubt. I asked Dr. Horndeski for a reference list and spoke to each one of the (5) that I asked for and was given. They were all over the moon happy and gave me the confidence that I needed. I am now 18 days post surgery. My results are amazing!! Rather than lower droopy reduced breasts, mine are high and perky. They sit just as he said they would, and look and are sized exactly how I wanted them and we discussed. I am still in the healing process, but my scaring looks like it is going to be just fine, and quite honestly I CANNOT WAIT until this summer to be in a bathing suit!! For the first time I can put one on and not have the weight of my breast tied so tightly in a knot on my neck that I can't wait to get out of the water and take it off. After it is all said and done, and I have the results on my very own chest to prove it, and many conversations with Dr. Horndeski, it makes sense. He is a math guy and an engineer, and has utilized those skills to develop a completely different method for breast reduction/lifts and not let the typical "hold ups" of doctors get in his way. I whole heartedly believe that in time, his method will prove to be the standard practice for reduction and lift surgery. Why would it not be? I have no vertical scar on my breasts and they sit higher than any other doctors reduction I have ever seen. I am very grateful for my choice and to him, as obviously a decision like this is life changing. With all of that said, I talked to him in detail on why others are not partaking in his method, and the answer was simple-this is not what they teach in school, and he is the only one that knows how to do it. In years to come when I am sure he will franchise out his technique (if he ever becomes the marketing guy) having him perform your surgery will likely be nearly impossible-or cost you 5 times as much. It is true, the results and pictures are real and that's why I sincerely wanted to take the time to write this in such detail-to help others that were in my situation make a clearer decision. Whatever you do, ask for references-and call. You will get the real deal on recovery, experience and results. Hope this helps!

You are looking great!! The scarring looks so minimal and your shape is so nice. How much tissue was removed? I'd like to hear what my PS thinks of this method for me but I'm not sure it would work given the amount I need removed.
Thank you!!! I had about 300 cc's removed from each but that doesn't matter, I know he has worked with women far larger than me. FYI though, this method is exclusive to Dr. Horndeski he developed it and is the only surgeon doing breast reduction/lift with no vertical scars. They sit so high because he takes your own skin and connects it to a muscle internally giving you permanent support. He calls it "straps" I call it a build in bra. Other ps told me they could not reduce without the vertical scar, that it was impossible. That's why I wanted to write such a detailed post, it is possible.
This sounds very promising! Thank you for posting about it. I honestly don't mind getting the vertical scar but didn't know there was a choice. I wonder why other drs are not offering this option.
Horndeski has a patent on the procedure so is the only doctor in the world who knows how to do it. His technique also offers a significant lift as well. Worth checking out before you go elsewhere.
wow! Our breast look great. I think I'm going to up your Dr when I have my bread lift. I'm a 34 DDD
To **use** Not "up"..
He is worth it! "Up" is the breasts ;)
You lookAMAZING!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!
thank you!!
Hi are you still happy with them and any more pics??
I am, they look great. Scars are healing and they look wonderful. Will post some more soon. Haven't really taken any in awhile.
Any updated pictures? Would be interested in seeing after the healing? (I may need to move to have him do the surgery!! Lol)
I would advise you to do so, his procedure is amazing. I missed my last appointment for a check up oooppps. So i need to get some updated pics.

I have had large breasts my entire life- 5'8 and 160lbs/athletic build and have always just felt out of per portion. Clothes not fitting correctly, me appearing larger than i know that I actually am, feeling like all that shows up in pictures was my breasts etc. Obviously my larger breasts caused back, neck and shoulder pain, but to be honest it was bearable and certainly not the driving force in my decision. For me, never having a major surgery before, I wanted to be sure. I went to see multiple doctors, and was very clearly brought to the understanding that my breasts were made of breast tissue much more so than fat, so no weight loss was really going to help my situation. After being brought to that realization, i decided to do something about it, and I scheduled my surgery. Will post pics when I get them. Have not received my before picture file yet.

I just saw your post about getting a reduction from a 34 G. I have a question about bra size because I read that your cup size is determined by how many inches difference from the band size, so I did my measurements and I have a 34 band size and my breasts are a 7 inch difference so that would make mine a G like you. I was wondering if you know this to be true because I can't imagine myself fitting a G. I only wear sports bras now because I can't find a decent fitting bra. Can you tell me what brand you wore when you had your size G? Well, I hope you're feeling good now that you had a reduction and that you are happy with your results. Thank you!
Hello. Well I am no expert in this area and was wearing an incorrect size bra for years. I went to Macys and got measured and they put me into the 34G. Believe it or not, I looked much better and smaller in that bra then I had trying to squeeze into a triple D. At that time I was wearing a Bali minimizer bra, and continued to do so for years. They recently stopped selling them, and had only one alternative for my size at the store, and that very real frustration brought me to decide on surgery. However, post surgery, I realized that Dillards actually has a ton of options in store for the 34G size-never knew that when wearing them. My suggestion would be to go and get measured. If you get a knowledgeable person, they will tell you and make recommendations based on your goal look.
Thank you! When you got measured, do you remember how many inches difference there were between your band size and your breast size? Did they use that method, the inch difference, to determine your cup size when you wore a size G cup?
Hi! I'm a 30H and I have been buying all of my bras from FigLeaves.com for at least six years now. They are are a British company and have fabulous bras for busty girls. My favorite brands are Elle MacPherson, Pour Moi and Just Peachy by FigLeaves. Check them out! They've seriously made my life better. Believe it or not, I often find great bras on sale for around $30. Shipping isn't much and usually takes about two weeks. I'm having my reduction in a month and am actually sad that I won't be able to wear all the pretty bras I have now.
Surromommy-I am sorry this was awhile ago, so i don't remember all the details, but i believe they measured the band and the breast to determine the total size...
Thank you! I have seen fig leaves on the internet along with curvy kate, they do have some nice bras. My favorite are the t-shirt bras but they are pricey. I will look more into them though... :o)
ok, thank you! I just need to get sized and try on some bras. I'm getting a tt with lipo next week so I'm waiting until I recover from that and the swelling goes down before I invest in some decent bras.
Try "Soma" in e woodlands mall , they have great supportive bras
Thank you! I did see them on the internet and I love thier bras, very pretty!
I'm in the same situation as you - same build and breasts. I go for surgery the 22nd. You look wonderful! What type of incisions do you have?
Thank you. All the stiching is internal. Are you using Dr. Horndeski?
Do you know how many grams were removed from your breasts? This answer would really help me thanks
330 cc's
I noticed some women had to go for revisions. Do you think this will be your case? I think your breast are nice but I also thought the other women looked great also however they choose to have a second surgery. That's my only issue with this surgeon. Did you ask him why isn't under the American Society of Plastic Surgeons? I am curious about that as well. How did he respond to that if you asked.
I did have what they call a "dog ear" that we are going to be fixing next week in his office. (at no cost to me, small procedure with a local anestetic). I am not sure what you mean by second surgery? I did not ask about the ASPS..
Okay, I was under the impression that the dog ears are removed with surgery two. Great to know it's an in office procedure and no charge. Thanks for your help. Looking forward to seeing the final results. You look awesome!
he performed 3 surgeries on my breast. I just had a 4 by another doctor to repair. Please keep researching if you are considering using him.
a "revision" awake in his office is not a pleasant ordeal. It's very painful & unsanitary. You are in a doctor's office not a sterile surgical room. The surgery should be done right the first time. In my opinion revisions should be rare.
Great job. You look so much better. Enjoy them.
thank you!
