WORTH IT$5,500
I have always had small breasts and always had friends with large natural ones. I have always desired my own breasts to feel sexy and feminine. I was given the lower half - a big butt and thick thighs - and I have a muscular frame, so acquiring a proportionate and natural chest size was on the wish list. I am very active (crossfit, trail running, volleyball, water sports, & snowboarding) and did not want breasts that would inhibit my workouts and activity level post recovery. Originally, I was under the social impression that I should just get my boobs done after I have kids. I learned that having children post BA does not alter one's ability to breastfeed or "ruin" your implants. I also wasn't planning on having kids anytime soon, so game-on!

After 3 consultations, I choose a local surgeon who I felt the most comfortable with. Originally, I felt that I wanted a mod + silicone implant, under the muscle or dual plane. Upon researching further and being educated by my surgeon, I decided that an above the muscle approach with a HP projection would best fit my active lifestyle and desired outcome.

My stats:
25 years old - 0 kids - 5' 4" tall - 150 lbs
440 cc HP Sientra textured silicone round implants, placed above the muscle.

That's great you found just the right implant size to accommodate your active lifestyle! How soon did your doctor say you could resume your workouts? Glad you can enjoy your new look before having children! ;) Feel free to join the May 2015 breast augmentation forum to see how others like yourself are healing. Congratulations!

Please tell me I just got 385cc under muscle textured sientra silicone. I am only 8 days post op but am having regrets because I feel they are so hard to touch and from what I read the textured implants stay hard to touch forever. How do yours feel? Are they softening up?

They will take months to get to their full softness. Mine are still very firm and mildly swollen. You're healing, it's normal. The textured implants are very slightly firmer than the smooth. Also your muscle is repairing itself after surgery, so you're probably still very swollen. They will get much better, don't worry.

You have no idea how depressed I have been since surgery and am so happy you replied! How many cc's did you get again and did you go under the muscle? I have just been so regretful so far why I even went through with surgery after feeling them and I went back to work today and am still in quite a bit of pain. I know i picked a great surgeon so I'm not a bit worried there just more with implant choice... so yours look great though in your pictures! You're about a month post op? Or more? How are you pain wise and I guess like to be a little forward do they jiggle like normal breasts would? I'm just having a hard time believing that I'm still THAT stretched out bc i can feel that my skin is really soft to the touch but then right underneath I just feel this hard like shell. And am not understanding how it's gonna soften up. Anyways I probably sound crazy but I THANK you for giving me some hopeful advice.... just how much have yours softened over the month and have they done any dropping or gotten any bigger ?

P.s. all these forums I've been reading don't help my mood it seems alot of surgeons are against these implants bc of their feel and how they don't move.

440, above the muscle. They are still quite tender for me even at 1 month (Thursday will be 4 weeks exactly). I would say 2/10 pain scale when touching/squeezing them. I wouldn't say they jiggle like normal breasts yet but I'm not expecting them to. They bounce when I'm walking fast or going down stairs. Try not to worry. Recovery for BA is 3 months to a year...so just relax and let your body heal. Stress is the worst thing for healing. Just make sure you write all your questions and concerns down and bring it to your post op appointments, so you don't forget to address anything with your doctor. They have dropped a bit, but not gotten any bigger that I've noticed. Take it easy and don't stress.

Getting softer (slowly) by the day! Weeks 1-2 were super itchy as my skin was stretching and healing. Weeks 3–4 have been different, as my nerves are healing so my nipples are very hypersensitive and almost painful and my breasts are quite tender. I can't tell that they are dropping at all through pictures, but it does FEEL like they are starting to settle down a bit.
I went back to work on my eighth day postop. I took my last percocet on day 3 at 6 am, and have had no nausea.
Dr. told me to massage my incisions a couple times a day starting at week 2.
Overall, IN LOVE with my new lady lumps!
