My annual check ups were painful. Post menopausal, my muscles atrophied, sex was painful, and just the irritation from the dryness was irritating and frustrating.
I did not want to use any hormonal therapies and I was tired of using creams, etc.

After discussions with friends, and just all the other frustrations we experienced, infections, etc., my doctor discussed the Mona Lisa as an option., and I loved the fact that by doing the laser treatment, no hormones were involved, and that your body was truly just being stimulated to take over its natural process.

Dr. London is my regular OB-Gyn. We had discussed the option a few times and because of scheduling issues on my end, it took a little while before I had the treatment. I was so impressed though by her research of the procedure and just her compassion and faith in it, that I even recommended a friend who ended up having the procedure before I did. Dr. London made the experience comfortable, and natural without embarrassment or discomfort of any sort. She and her nurses were very understanding and professional through every aspect. The treatments definitely made a difference for me as well as my friend. We will both continue the yearly follow up, and both just so appreciated Dr. London’s explanation and caring bedside manner. I would definitely recommend the Mona Lisa procedure and Dr. London to anyone experiencing vaginal dryness or any of the other concerns that can accompany it.
