Ok guys lastnight I was able to wash off the peel....

Ok guys lastnight I was able to wash off the peel. Total of 12 hours 30 mintues on my face. Afterwards, my skin felt very tight but wasnt painful. Kinda felt a little wind burned. The tightness really brought out my future wrinkles…reminded me of some of the old age makeups Ive had to do :) plus Ive noticed some red "sunburn" looking splotches have started to appear. Doc said that would happen. Anyways, after Id washed with cetaphil I ever-so-gently patted my face dry then used the pee colored towelette that comes with it. They should really consider giving these things a better color. Im just saying….Next I slathered on the VI moisturizer. I know this all supposed to be done an hour before bed, but being the single mother that I am…I was tired & passed out after 30 minutes. BTW I slept like a baby, no problems or discomfort. The moisturizer really does its magic as far as soothing goes!

This morning OFCOURSE the 1st thing I had to do was check out the new face!! Not looking very pretty today. The VI seems to be excellent at bringing out ALL of your "uglies" aka brown spots & then some! Theres a bunch in places that werent noticeable to the naked eye before. Looks like I shook up a Coke & opened it in my face. Im talking brown splatters everywhere. Double the amount of newbies I had yesterday. I know these will all go away, just putting it out there so that other readers who may experience the same know they're not alone.

***My only concerned area is the brown spot bellow my left eye. It kinda seemed to burn a little more in that area than anywhere else yesterday & now its become one of my darkest spots….a little worried about that one only because Ive read of all the reviews here about people getting burned & ending up with permanent scars. If theres anyone out there that has a positive comment to say about this also happening to them, please feel free to post now ;)

Moving right along, Ive washed & moisturized this morning & Im just waiting to see the changes. Ill keep ya posted!

Hi Everyone! Just thought I'd share my experience with all of you out there! To start off, I'm a celebrity makeup artist & spend the majority of most of my days painting on absolutely flawless skin! Ugh--I know. While my skins not all that terrible, it could def use some work! I've had brown spots, sun damage, acne scars, & did I mention I've been a smoker for 10 yrs now...so u can imagine how jealous I am whenever I'm working on people who have PERFECT skin ;) anyways, I finally decided to do something about it by going to a local dermatologist in my area. Let me just tell you...Cindi in Lake Charles is extremely knowledgable when it comes to skin! She was super thorough about everything. After explaining what my options were she decided that I'd probably benefit the most from having a VI Peel done. She'd explained to me that I would get more benefits from this than with the laser. She'd also explained to me that she too was skeptical of peels until this one came along. I had met her about 6 months ago when they had their grand opening at Shondra Smiths Office in Lake Charles, La. The whole staff seemed sincere about what they do & seemed to be in-the-know with all of their products & services. They'd also mentioned that they do quite a bit of research at their Lab which also help me feel like I would be in good hands. Anyways, I ended up going ahead & having the procedure done today & I can't wait to see the results! The whole process took only about 15 minutes & here's how it went 1. Acetone to remove any excess oil/makeup 2. Mixed the solution in a small cup & applied it to my face..it tingled only a little & smelled like chloraseptic (sp?) throat spray 3. Then she went over the rules with me which were: Leave on skin for 4-6 hours or longer if desired. Don't touch your skin as that can rub off solution Wash tonight with special cleanser, use the toilette provided & follow up with moisturizer that came with the kit! She even told me not to bother with calling the office & getting the answering service, she actually gave me her cell! Which I did use 2 text & ask her a few questions! But everything is going well so far. A few tingly spots that kinda burn (which she says is normal & that I can put some of the special moisturizer mixed with hydrocortisone cream on) So with all that being said, I'm looking forward to having celebrity skin soon! And I promise to show updated photos through out this process!
