$1,500
I don't regret doing the procedure because this is something I always wanted to try but if could go back in time I would rather to save the $1,500 ???????????? Honestly I thought I was going to get better results

1500 dollars for a tiny scar is way too much. One plastic surgeon tried to charge me thst much, I just went to another one.

When did it start getting more and more depressed? After how many months? Because your 38 day post looked great even though it was discolored.
June 3, 2016
I would say that around the 3 months after the surgery

cant he do more to fix it for free?
January 16, 2017
Hahahaha Good Joke. He proposed to fix it with Microneedling for $1,500 (3 sessions) and I said NO. I am actually looking to see if I can do any type of fillers like Bellafil or fat transfer.

That's crazy that they charged you so much for a single excision. I think the going rate is around $250-$300 per a single scar. I just had the exact same thing done and he only charged me $50. I am also kinda panicking that I made the wrong decision what if it looks worse after etc. :/

Well every skin is different.

Did a plastic surgeon or dermatologist do this? How did you choose them? What did they tell you the results would be?

This is how my scar was before the surgery and this is how it looks right now. Like I was saying I am not happy with the results I am not saying that is worse but is not any better than the previous one.

I can't really tell, even with zooming it. But it doesn't look as depressed as before but the scar looks a little widder.
June 2, 2016
Dylan, yes it a little widder. That's why I dont like it.
April 17, 2018
The scar tissue got wider due to hyperkinetic movement of the muscles of the skin.for the first few days it was looking good. But it got widened.u can go for subcision+ belafill.there is always the risk in plastic surgery.
U can go to Dr Jason Emer.

i think u need subcision to get better result.
June 1, 2016
Probably, but I'm done with these
June 1, 2016
Man what do you think to do? I have the same situation...
June 1, 2016
I think that you should go with at least 3 different doctors to listen to their comments about it. Every skin is different and every doctor uses different techniques. Do you have any pics?
June 2, 2016
What do you think went wrong? Is it the same exact as the old scar, I can't really tell from the pics. Hope you will find a better method.
June 2, 2016
I don’t really know because the doctor told me i was a perfect candidate for excision. I did everything he told me to do but still i am not happy with the results. I am not going to say it’s worse but is not better either, it’s just different.
June 2, 2016
This is such a worthless operation. I'm sorry that you went through this. My scar revision failed too. Scar treatments in general are worthless. But these docs will take your money in a heartbeat. You might want to try filler. That's the only thing that might yield improvement and there is little to no risk.
June 2, 2016
yeah, I think i have think about fillers or subscision but honestly I think I will stay like this.
June 2, 2016
I hear you. It sucks that you flushed 1,500 down the toilet. I can't believe he charged you that much for that tiny scar and then it didn't even work. These doctors are so greedy.
June 2, 2016
Yeah, if you see my last update you can see the difference from before and after and you will see that the original scar was deep but now is not deep but indented. I really think a subsicion may work well this time but naaaa I just rather to stay like this
June 27, 2016
Yeah, honestly, I think a tiny bit of filler would have leveled that scar up pretty well in the beginning. That is quite an obscene amount to charge someone for that tiny little scar. I think filler and C02 laser would help blend that scar. But proceed carefully because of your dark complexion.
