So I go to for follow up next week. From pre-op to recovery, it has been a much easier journey than I ever expected. My follow up care has been easy and Dr Mowlavi treats me as good as the first day I went in with apprehension. The top left pic shows the eve before I left for Laguna Beach for surgery, the bottom left is three weeks post op when the strips were starting to come off...the right pic is at the three month mark today. I wish I had better pics of my legs... Im so pleased to not have flappy arms, glad we didn't do implants for the breasts, and even with swelling, I am so happy with the way clothes fit and my confidence has improved greatly...(I even let the mister see me naked now...something I once hated and avoided)
I am so pleased that I chose Dr Mowlavi, ...well worth the ten hour drive for the surgery and all the follow ups... The hubby agrees and cannot recommend him highly enough!

You look wonderful and must feel fabulous without all that extra skin!! Did you have a thigh lift too?? Just wondering because I did 3 of my surgeries at once and just have my thighs left to do!! Happy healing keep in resting!! I'm four months out from my surgeries and having too much fun with clothes and bikinis!!
Yes..thigh lift, arm lift, Lower body lift, upper body lift, breast lift tummy tuck and lipo with fat transfer...still some swelling and numbness but that can last months they say...I do feel great...you will not be sorry having the thigh lift...it truly is like a new beginning ...thanks for the compliments!
Wow! You topped me with surgeries done at once!! I just scheduled my consult for my thigh lift! April 8th! Excited and scared! How long are your thigh scars?? I'm hoping he can just stop mid thigh for me in the scar department! I will start a new review under thigh lift for my new surgery!!
At the pre-op we discussed mid thigh but on day of surgery, he asked how low he could go...I told him I didn't care if he went to my ankle..lol... It ended right inside my knees, and I am pleased... I would have had him lipo even more if I knew how much it swelled...but I'll always have a little thicker thigh. The scarring is fading quickly...although it takes longer on thighs I think...due to the nature of gravity...blood flow..etc...and the fact that I stand twelve hours a day...I'm glad I did it in the winter because our Summer's get above 115* an I wouldn't have been able to stand the compression garment. I still wear it if I am driving for long times...like this weekend when we go for a follow up...or when I know I will have an extra long time on my feet....days that I would swell under normal circumstances..please include me on your new review. Real self has been such a help for me!
I think it should show up in my reviews? Hoping! It should be under tiny mermaid! I'm so glad I found someone with a good thigh outcome!! I'm so nervous about it!
Well I'm not sure I'm brave enough for a bikini...but I could I think....Lori would go mid thigh rather than knee if you have an option...the lowest part of the scar is still the darkest...but by summer it may have faded..it's only been ten weeks..

Lipo everywhere with fat transfer to buttocks ( didn't give me a big bum, just kept my new lifted bum from being flat)

Three weeks post op! All-in-one body lift
I cannot say enough good about Dr Mowlavi. After so many procedures a once , I thought I would be in so much pain...not the case. This was so much easier than I imagined. The staff at Cosmetic
Surgery Center is so supportive, answers ANY question, fits you in if you need seen,...returns calls, calls to check on you...encourages progress. Thank you Claudia, James, Monica, and Samantha..they were so busy but never rushed me. Dr. Mowlavi, himself, is warm, caring and has a great sense of humor and did everything to put myself and my hubby at ease thru the entire eight hour surgery..updating when he could...sending staff when he couldn't. I would drive the ten hours again for any procedure I wanted after this.
Post op, I dealt with low iron...no appetite,...anxiety...all of this was addressed and healing has sped up. Following all the rules is key! I hope to post pics from the doc soon..

15 days til surgery!
Getting excited..and nervous! Everything has fallen into place quickly. The staff at Dr Mowlavi's has been awesome! Financing in place, accommodations for three weeks booked, caregivers all set, and pre op tests all done! This weekend I will start gathering what I need for post op comfort..this is going sooooo fast!

Many people were skeptical because this was all don't in one surgery. Honestly, I am amazed myself how much easier it was than I ever imagined. Healing is going well. I returned to work as a hairdresser after just four weeks.
Is it perfect? No one is ever perfect..but I'm pleased with the results and think they are very age/size appropriate...my confidence has really improved.
