Hello! I have found this site extremely helpful...
Hello! I have found this site extremely helpful for my BA. So I decided to pay it forward and share my story.
Stats:
Height-5'5
Weight-130
Boob Size-34B
Implant-550 Seintra, moderate profile
My decision to get a BA:
I use to be much larger (160 lbs) then what I am now (130 lbs). With that being said, I lost my boobs in my weight loss journey, and every time I lose more weight, they just get smaller. This puts me in a pardox. Do I keep losing weight and be flat chested with a big booty, or do I sacrifice my abs for a fuller chest. I use to be a 34DD, now I am a deflated 34 B. I feel like I have been robbed of my womanhood.
Finding the right PS:
I went to 2 other consults before I found Dr. Daniel Mills in Laguna Beach. Dr. Mills is an active member in good standing with the American Society For Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, California Society of Plastic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, and served as the President of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons from June 2007 until June 2008. Additionally, he has 15 years of experience and 10 years of residency teaching. You can read all about his bio.
Also, his staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
It's safe to say, I am in good hands with him. I originally went in there wanting just 410ccs, but then he explained how 70% of women wished they went bigger. I was still undecided until my last preop appointment, until then I was searching sites (especially this one) to finalize my decisions. I found this one to be most helpful. Needless to say, I decided to go with the biggest size possible (550ccs) without having the "pornstar" look. He addressed my concerns with looking natural.
Dr. Mills BA Method:
Transauxillary Incision (armpit)
Submuscular Placement
Day of Surgery

Congratulations! Hoping you are feeling better today. Sounds like you under good post op care. Glad you could do this for yourself along with your weight loss journey. Feel free to join some other May 2015 breast augmentation members to see how they are recovering. Keep us posted!

4 Day Post Op
Anyways.. It has been a few days since my operation. I was mainly drugged up the for the most part because I was in so much pain. I recall my friends, who had the surgery themselves, saying how easily the surgery will be, and I will be up and walking around in no time. NOPE! That was a flat out lie!!!! I don't know if I am just a big baby or if it's cause I jumped up 3 cup sizes (B to DD). I had NEVER had surgery so this was a whole new experience. I found it best to do little as possible, ice packs were a godsend along with my meds. The only movement I did was for me to bath, do my breast exercises, and follow up in my post op appointment.
I got to say Dr. Mills has superb bedside mannerism. He addressed my concerns and saw how the surgery took an emotional toll on my body. I didn't feel rushed and certainly wanted to make sure I left reassured. He is the one of the best doctors I have ever encountered. I'm really happy I went with him, because I hear of some PS just treating you like another number.
