Late 2021 - Still good!

Still looking solid at almost 38 years old in late 2021, still very happy with the results! You need to stay relatively fit so you don't end up looking like a fat person with obviously-fake abs (Google for pics of Darryn Lyons; it looks horrible), but honestly you probably don't need to work out as much as I do (about 2-3 times a week). Just stay fairly slim via cardio and some mild workouts if that's all you wanna do, and you'll keep looking ripped!

Mid-2020, Still Going strong!
Well I've caught up on my fitness (plenty of quarantine time in my garage over the last ~6 months) and my abs still look fantastic over 2.5 years later! Honestly I barely work out my abs (just enough to keep a strong healthy core strength), and this has freed me up so much to focus on working on my arms, shoulders, chest, legs, and everything else and it's done wonders. Would 100% do this again!

I read you entire journey thanks for a detailed write up. I have been looking at this for awhile I too saw Dr emer but didn't vibe with him or his office.

I looked into Dr. Emer as well, and although he certainly seems to be a skilled surgeon, I sort of gleaned that he seems to be largely focused on prestige and his polished upscale Beverly Hills bougie image - but why would we, as patients, care about how polished a surgeon's image is? We're most concerned with RESULTS. Dr. Mowlavi is down to earth, enthusiastic, and a total nerd for his craft - which I think is the BEST kind of surgeon, as no one knows and values their work better; I'm very glad I went with Doc M!

yes i totally agree about emer. I have a consult with Dr M so ill see how it goes. I have also found one i like in nashville.

6 Months Post-Op
Just some comparison pics; I found myself at the same tanning salon as I took the Before pics, so I took some corresponding After pics - crappy overhead lighting and all - just for direct comparison. Quite a difference for sure; very happy so far!
