I Loved my Rhinoplasty!
WORTH IT$7,500
I decided after long consideration to undergo rhinoplasty in August 2018. I had a deviated septum after breaking my nose a few years ago which left me unable to breath out of one nostril. I was also unsatisfied with the large bump and downward hooking of my nose (typical Spanish-European nose) that I was born with. Dr. Joseph did a wonderful job explaining in detail the procedure and what sort of expectations I should have. We took before pictures and he took his time answering all my questions. His team was also amazing. My surgery went very smoothly with no complications and took about 2 hours. I had absolutely NO bruising whatsoever thanks to having taken all the recommended vitamins beforehand and I experienced minimal swelling. My pain level wasn’t too bad either during my recovery. I made sure to follow all the post op instructions to the tee before and after my cast removal. MAKE SURE TO TAKE YOUR PAIN PILL 45 MINS BEFORE YOUR CAST REMOVAL APPOINTMENT!!! I took mine only 30 mins before and it was NOT enough time to set in! OUCH!!! Once my cast came off 5 days after surgery, I finally got to see my nose and I was extremely satisfied! Dr. Joseph removed the bump, turned up the tip of my nose slightly, and made my nose look straighter! He was able to do this by taking pieces of cartelidge from my nose (not ear) and manipulating it in such a way to get the desired shape. I can now breathe perfectly out of both nostrils and cannot express enough how happy I am with my nose shape. Down time is about 4-6 weeks, maybe less; you have to sleep with your head elevated during that time; I highly recommend a neck pillow; pain is controlled, and if you follow all the instructions, it’s a breeze!

That looks like a broken nose that healed crooked pre-op... is that right?
Yes, that’s right.

Good luck!
Thank you for the review. My surgery is in 5 days, and I'm starting to finally get excited for it. Just ordered a neck pillow so thank you for that tip as well.

You look beautiful! It is so natural looking. Thanks for sharing your cast removal tips, sounds painful!
