I'm 42 years old and had my son at 23, 95lbs. I gained 50lbs during pregnancy and was left with a permanent pouch. I consulted about coolsculpting and was given nothing but positive encouragement that in the least, it would remove the lower belly fat but not so much tighten the area. I read reviews on this site and others that said though the results weren't amazing.. they were better than the current "situations". First, I was not warned at all of the nerve pain that started a week after and lasted for almost a month. I thought.. if it works, then the pain is worth it - no pain, no gain. Two months in.. it appeared to be working.. saggy skin but less fat in the area... then things started to change. That area started to "harden". It looks worse than before the procedure.. my lower abdomen is larger than before and "hard". I want to cry whenever I see it. I was never told this would be a risk.. just that in the least, it wouldn't do anything but not make it worse. Save your money and save yourself future grief.

I'm disappointed of all I was NOT warned about. I read the disclosures.. no where did it mention the severe nerve pain.. no where did it mention what I've read now in other reviews.. that you could end up with that area hardening and larger than you started... but she was happy to take my hard earned money. Though I will say that the actual technician that did the procedure was very nice. I was so upset and disappointed after hearing real feedback and being in serious pain that I chose not to go back for "check-in" a month later.
