23 year old - labiaplasty + clitoral hood reduction

So I'm 6 weeks out.. I still really feel there wasn't enough taken from the hood. It actually still feels kinda swollen some days as well. On one side the frenulum isn't attached very well the the labia, so it kinda sticks out on it's own.

I hope it heals to look more natural.. I'm trying to stay positive. I'll probably get the hood fixed at some point down the road

Had anything changed since? Has any of the hood swelling gone down? I’m 2.5 weeks post op and I feel similarly.

Feeling more and more sad and disappointed as time goes on. One labia is almost gone, the other side is jagged and doesn't have a smooth connection to the frenulum. My clit looks huge and everything looks the same while standing up.

My surgeon told me it's the most he could take off. I feel he totally ripped me off and didn't take the time to inform me of how my results would really look until after it was done. It was the most money I've ever spend on something so I'm feeling really stupid. I can't afford to go get a revision, and there's no way I'm going back to my last surgeon.

I guess I'll wait a few years until I can afford to go to a better doctor, or I'll just deal with it.

and yes it was a plastic surgeon with a great reputation.
I'm 6 weeks post and feel the exact same way! Feeling like it was the worst decision ever :( I keep waiting for it to get better, but no improvements ugh
That's too bad, did you ask your surgeon about if its possible to get a revision?
I didn't ask my specific surgeon...I mean i guess there is always the option of a revision, just dont know if I want to go through the emotional rollercoaster again! Could deal with the physical pain but, hate the always worrying/overthinking that comes along :( just keeping my fingers crossed by 3-6 months I am happier with it and wont need to worry about saving again for another
I hope it gets better for you. Has it improved any lately?
I am happier with it than I was before, but it wasn't worth the money I paid. I'm trying to look on the positive side though..

I think I will get a revision but not with the same doctor. I think I'll talk to more docs this time and make sure they know exactly what I want and how to do it.. but that won't be for atleast another year

Its healing.. the hood tissue still feels swollen and sensitive, along with the right lip. Hopefully it just continues to go down over the next few weeks. I had a separation but it seems to be filling in pretty quick. You can't see it in these pics.
The tissue down there now feels pretty hard.. so I think in a week or so I'm gonna start using coconut oil to soften things up and to help with scarring.
I just want to go to the gym and melt in the sauna... only 1 week until my doc said I can.

Hi! I had a labiasty on the 7th of January. Wedge method. Did you still feel your skin rigid and sensitive? My labia skin (on the edge, and around stitches) feel rigid and sensitive
