Labiaplasty - 24 years old

In two days, it will be a month since I had the procedure. Swelling goes down a little more each day. My surgeon said I won’t see the final results for a few more months, but overall, I’m still happy with how it’s starting to look.

I changed my review to ‘Worth It.’ Really, the only reason I was unsure about the results of the procedure was because of how swollen I was. Now that the swelling has gone down tremendously (and will, I hope, continue to go down), I’m much happier.

I no longer feel any pain or discomfort, but I realize that the level of pain I got from this procedure was very small compared to what other women have experienced, and the length of time that I experienced this pain was incredibly short. I’m incredibly grateful.

I’m also no longer spotting - bleeding has completely stopped.

All in all, my recovery is going very well.

I went back to work today after four days of rest. My job requires sitting at a desk all day. There was some discomfort, but nothing too unbearable. I was sitting on a newly purchased donut pillow, so that was probably what really helped me.

I have been taking antibiotics three times a day, as prescribed by my surgeon. The area, of course, is still swollen, but there has been less spotting.
