I got this in 2023. Medicaid paid for it. At the time I was and still am a college student and mother. Super part time. Since 16 i considered a labiaplasty but I wanted to grow into my body. I was truly born with larger labia. So in 2023 the doc said he can do a trim . He botched me instead . I now need atleast 30k to see dr Michael reed in Davis Cali or Gary alter … I tried malpractice . The state of TN makes that impossible. I’m still botched. I can’t have sex or shave or really do anything down there. Being exposed and mangled like this equals automatic infection . So I just don’t use my vagina now….

One year post operation
I am now one year post operation from a bilateral trim labiaplasty that was covered by Medicaid due to medical reasons in Smyrna tn by Dr ikejiani
This was a horrible experience
My right side is amputated
My left side is bulky
My opening is always exposed and I’ve had over 17 infections BV yeast and UTI
I can not have sexual relations
I’m on Medicaid so I’m obviously not wealthy
Dr Gary later offered to help me for a little over 20k
I am saving for that and seeking more affordable options
Vanderbilt will help and use my Medicaid but I will require two surgeries
Dr Michael reed has a reviv method where he may be able to make my right look like I have some labia left
I am also seeking counsel from dr Alinsod
I am distraught
My mental is suffering
I was unable to sue for malpractice despite no longer being able to be intimate , being prescribed nerve medicine and constant infections
Praying for a miracle here

I’m so sorry you are going through this. My first labiaplasty was a disaster so I totally understand how this affects you mentally and physically. Dr Alter is the only person I can trust on this case. Like I said is expensive but he will make this better for u. Even if u have to get an extra job.
Just curious what would be the next step?

Not worth it
I have to get revised
Nothin really left to the right lip
Left lip very bulky and bulky
Clitoris completely covered
Spoke to several surgeons
My only option is to re trim the left side
Very unhappy I have to get cut twice

I know that it is very expensive, but this is your body and you have to live with it for the rest of your life. I would really think about who you decide to go with for a revision. Best of luck!
I would just get the other side trimmed so that it atleast matches but not get them to completely remove it bust try to get it as close to the other lip as possible
