I definitely fell behind with updates.
Nearly two years post op and I’m loving the results. That being said, i knew to achieve what i want would require multiple procedures.
In May I’m getting a “touch up”. In no way do I consider this a revision.
Dr. Turner was as aggressive as i wanted with removing everything while still ensuring functionality and sensitivity were preserved.
One thing i wont do that i did the first time was shave prior.
I found when the hair was regrowing it was very uncomfortable with how swollen and sensitive it was.
So no shaving this time around.

All of the pain is gone at this point. I’m crossing my legs again mid bending over normally. It’s sounds dramatic but I really couldn’t bend over normally without feeling I was pulling or pressing on something.
I’m obviously still not sexually active. It’ll definitely be a minimum 6 weeks as they recommend but I may go an extra week or two as I want the healing to be undisturbed for as long as possible.
During my post op appointment he clipped some stitches. He didn’t take them out but told me they’d eventually loosen and fall out. Most of them have except like two.
I had some concerns that the stitches should stay longer. There are some areas that look like they could open back up. He told me that it all looked normal and the skin just needed to toughen over time.
I’ve been very gently cleaning with q-tips every day and a light rinse in the shower. The most uncomfortable part in the healing process has been the itchiness. So while washing I just use water since my skin is sensitive and it’s already itchy down there.

Are you back exercising? If you are, how are you feeling with it? I worry about not being able to be physically active for too long!

I'm not exercising, although I feel I could if I wanted. I wouldn't do the row machine or spinning but everything else seems okay.

Gal, have you ever experienced can not pee straight? Pee splashing all over the butts and legs? My friend did it the same like you a month ago and she has that issue until now. So always major cleaning. Have you ever had it, gal?

Omg yes!! Like sometimes going straight up. I'm hoping it'll pass but the stream is very erratic now.

Oh My God! Exactly the same thing like my friend does! You know what gal, she changes her urinating way now. So, here it is. She presses the majora all together while peeing so the stream come one in the same direction and no more erratic. It sucks but after getting used to it for almost like a week, she get used to now. So please, do the same thing, put the index finger together to press all the majora, so majora will be so close to each others. It will work. Good luck gal!

I’m kind of concerned about how long it’s taking to heal.
I work at a restaurant so I’m on my feet 9+ hours a day. I gave myself 10 days off thinking that would be plenty. It’s uncomfortable sitting and standing, going to the bathroom and being on my feet extended amounts of time.
The swelling gets really bad by the end of the day making it more uncomfortable.
So far the most painful/uncomfortable part has been the stitches poking everywhere. Also I shaved before surgery and the hair going back is very uncomfortable also pricking me.
I’d recommend getting a wax before surgery. I tried shaving twice since but couldn’t get everything.
I’ve also developed a rash on the labia majors. Not surprising to me as I have very sensitive skin as well as eczema. I’ve been using my eczema cream and that helps.

Sooo much better! Im getting excited about what the final results will look like. And obviously excited to feel back to normal down there.

I couldn't go back to work for at least two and a half weeks. :/

The recovery is more uncomfortable and painful than my breast augmentation! I definitely wasn't expecting that.

Hello dear, did you have Barbie Trim? The results look so nice!
September 16, 2021
I told him that's the method I find the most attractive results and that's what I'd like for myself. I told him of course to do what he thought was best to achieve my results. He mentioned trimming everything could result in painful intercourse but my labia was up farther, away from the vagina so cutting more wasn't too much of a concern.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanation. Great result BTW. Cheers! Happy healing!
