On a random thursday evening I managed to slice deeply through my middle finger and thumb with a buck knife. Refusing to go to an urgent care center I stopped the bleeding with an over the counter product and some paper towels creating an even bigger mess then I started with wound up in tape.
The following day I walked into Dr. Tom Pousti's office around 3:00pm and he looked at my hazardous hand in between patients. I was warmly received in the busy office even though I had not called ahead, and they managed to squeeze me in at the end of their day. Everyone stayed later on that Friday evening to take care of me, and they did it with a smile. Dr. Pousti's and his assistants kept me comfortable until he was ready, they did not act rushed or inconvenienced, they simply wanted to make sure I was okay. Everyone was kind, and considerate and Dr. Pousti delivered the care of a true professional along with his staff's assistance.
I got some stitches and the staff gave me extras supplies to take care of myself, along with their frequent phone checkups on my status. I won't go anywhere else for my care after this. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Pousti's office for anything you need, because being in the care of such a competent professional gives me all the confidence in the world.
