WORTH IT$14,000
I decided to contact Dr.Pousti after going to 2 doctor consults in Las Vegas where I live. I received poor bedside manners from both doctors and decided not to procede with either doctor due to different visions from them for my outcome. I knew that I wanted large breast that were a bit lifted. The doctors here in Vegas recommended smaller breast implants with a lift at the same time.
I decided to do some research to make my dream come true. I found Dr.Pousti who specializes in xl breast augmentation and 2 step breast augmentations. After turning 28, I decided to contact Dr. Pousti for email consult. We chatted and I decided to meet him in person to get the ball rolling. I scheduled a consult for September 18th. I flew to San Diego. I was determined to get a third opinion for my breast goals. I was greeted by his awesome staff and felt at home. Upon meeting Dr. Pousti he examined me and actually talked to me! I was blown away and knew he was going to be my doctor. I got to talk to actual patients and see their results. I did not feel pressured to make a choice at any time. I decided to book the next available appt for surgery!
We scheduled my Step 1- the breast lift for October 1st. Since I was an out of town patient; Dr.Pousti did all my pre-operative stuff that day at inititial consult.
On surgery day, I felt at ease. Dr. Pousti and his surgical team are amazing. I got the procedure done and was discharged later that day. I was not in pain just sleepy. He and his staff have been following up on me every day since surgery.
I am now 8 days after surgery and am not taking any pain meds!!! I am returing to work in 3 days. I feel confident, I made the right choice for an excellent doctor. I have a follow up appt on October 30th. At that time, we will decide on when to procede with stage 2- which is the breast augmentation. Super excited with my results so far.

Congrads on the lift! Glad to hear the recovery is going well. Do you know about what size implants you'll eventually be getting?

Hi Beth, i want to get large breast implants. I am hoping for 800ccs or more. This is the primary reason for choosing my surgeon. In the past, I weighed 80 lbs more. When I lost weight so did my breast disappear from a 38DDD to 34B.

Oh, yes, with larger implants it makes sense for you to get your new look in two separate surgeries. Isn't it unfair that boobs are the first thing to go with weight loss?! ;) While you're waiting for phase 2, you might enjoy meeting other women awaiting their upcoming breast augmentation surgery. And here is a link to women who are getting breast lifts soon. Feel free to chime in!

I live in vegas and had the same experience you described with bedside manners as well so I emailed Dr Pousti's office. I recd more info and explanation of procedure from Dr Pousti by email than I got from a face to face consult in vegas.....I decided right then that he would be the one to do my breast revision!;))

Great! Excited for my surgery in 29 days now!!! Yay! Getting a lift and implants. Took my pics last night, I'm gonna try to get up today. How was the first 24 hours? I think I'm mostly scared when I wake up and first night. I'm a stomach sleeper so it will be an adjustment for sure for me.

Super excited for you!!! I'm a stomach sleeper too and still haven't been able to sleep that way. I bought a body pillow and it helps me sleep on the side better. The first 24 hours after surgery are easy since your drugged up! Take your pills as directed on the bottle, it really helped me. My family took me to the beach the day after surgery...I walked a bit in the sand but mostly lay down on a beach towel. You will love your results, keep me posted :)

Hi there, I also am thinking of having a breast lift and possibly the augmentation at a later date if I decide to go forward with that. My doctor recommends better results also if you do this in 2 steps. After hearing the reasons, it does make more sense. You look similar to me to start with meaning possibly a B cup. I was wondering since you just had the lift, how do they appear now? I hear that people with just a lift may appear smaller, although they say that just the breast tissue gets redistributed and nothing is lost except the extra skin. I just want perky again and back where they were before kids so wanted to hear your input if you think that is how your breasts are now. I understand if you want to be bigger later, but can you tell me if you think you didn't lose size with just the lift? I everyone is different depending on the amount of sagging they have and the amount of breast tissue, but I thought I'd try to get a little idea if possible. Can you help?

Hi, since the surgery I gained about ten pounds and my breast tissue increased again. I am a C cup. I got fitted at Macy's and bought a soft wirefree bra. The breast are perkier and now look rounder. I have booked my augmentation for April 10, 2015. I am super excited! You will be pleased with the lift. Now, i don't have to lift my boobs to stuff them in the bra lol

I'm really happy that I did 2 stages. I wasn't happy at all with the 'in between phase', couldn't wait to get the implants in! But I really am happy I opted for 2 stages. Dr. Revis is amazing!

I am two weeks post-op. My energy level is getting up. Will be returning to work in 4 days. Have slight pain in the incision areas. I'm not taking any pain meds. Super excited for my follow up appt in two weeks. I'll be flying, just reserved my ticket today! No drainage, sucks not being able to shower completely. Have been showering belly button down and wiping my upper body with baby wipes. I'm so glad it's getting cooler in Vegas.

Funny how different surgeons have different thoughts and rules. I was allowed to take a full shower day 2 post op.

I went to see Dr. Pousti on the 30th of October. As usual, everyone was super nice. Anna was very warm, friendly and gentle when taking off my surgical dressings.
Dr. Pousti was super caring. We decided to follow up over email for the next two months. Then I'll return for an examination to determine when the second stage will be done.
My breast are feeling more soft and less tender. I am very happy to be showering full body!
I'm disappointed with the dark areola skin left after the lift. I thought all the areola color would be cut off. I will be talking to Dr. Pousti about scar revision at the next appointment.

Hello fellow 2 stager! Doesn't seem to be many of us out there. I had stage 1 September 26 and I'm scheduled for stage 2 January 14. This in between saggy phase sucks(still looks better than pre op though), but I'm so glad my PS recommended I split it up. I'll be healed when the implants go in and won't have to worry about the lift and implants battling each other. Happy healing!
