Epitomy of Plastic Surgery Complications - La Mesa, CA

I'm now 6 weeks post-op and very happy to say I have not had any complications. I'm still not considering myself out of the woods but it feels great knowing I'm off to a great start. Dr. Pousti and his staff have been amazing and he has met and exceeded all my expectations! I strongly recommend Dr. Pousti if you are considering plastic surgery for the 1st time or like me for the 3rd, you will definately be happy and satisfied!

I originally got saline implants back in May 06 in south carolina, within 3 weeks I had a nasty infection and after months of trying to save the implant it had to come out. There I am newly engaed, plan in a wedding and hoping I et my boob back in time..haha. well I did and minus a few more problems it stayed put until I had my last baby in July 2010 and I noticed I looked lopsided. Sure enough went to a Dr (now in FL) and my implant had an early deflation, go figure. Thankfully I purchases insurance so it was covered and I upgraded to silicone for a small price. 3 weeks later no infection but my incision opened up and had t get a new implant. After all that I was fineand I was enjoying them, until around 6 months later and I noticed a dark spot on the bottom lobe area. Went to my Dr and he was baffled and mentioned placing some kind of fake skin but wanted to speak to his colleagues, however by the time he got back to me I got another infection and was in the process of moving cross country so he told me to rush to San diego and get it fixed. I arrived in San Diego mid august but it was too late y breast had several holes through the skin and not much could be done. Went to the ER and the implant along with part of my lower breast was removed. I saw several doctors of all kind and everyone had a different treatment plan. Some were extreme and some not extreme enough considering my history. I finally met some friends and several of them referred me to Dr. pousti. They all raved about him so I met with him and immediately felt like he was who I've been looking for and waiting for! Its been a year since my impalnt was removed and I just had the revision and re-implants done this past week. I am anxious and hopeful to see what amazing work he's done. I was lopsided for a year and now I'm just hoping for my life back! Will keep our all updated :-)
