49 Year Old Wanting Fullness -BA with Lift Capsulorrhaphy (Internal Bra) - La Mesa, CA

March 2015, 48 years old.. I was ready for Breast Augmentation, looking for fuller breasts. I had been to a consult about 5 years ago with Dr. W. but was not ready to commit. Many of my friends had been to Dr. Pousti with amazing results, however I had some referral bucks from Dr. W so I gave that office a call. After being put on hold for over 5 minutes. I hung up and called Dr. Pousti’s office immediately. The phone was answered after the first ring, I was never put on hold, and immediately I felt this was the office for me. After explaining my needs, I was able to get in the next day as I was ready to have BA. I walked in to the office with my boyfriend and we were greeted by many friendly faces. The office of Dr. Pousti makes you feel like you are the only one in the office.. and its not fake! During my consult Dr. P gave me the news that a lift was necessary. I did not want a lift, but he said with the look I want to achieve it would be necessary. I trusted him with what he said, consulted with my boyfriend and he said… let’s do it! 2 weeks later I had my Breast Augmentation with lift… 450cc high profile saline. They looked great! Perky and full! Not gonna lie it was painful for the first week, then to find out that my body didn’t take well to the stitches so my healing time was much longer than most. About 4 months Post OP I noticed my breasts were losing their fullness. At first I thought they were leaking, and took my concerns back to Dr. P. he confirmed they were just settling. My breast skin had a lot of elasticity. Dr. P talked to me about “capsulorrhaphy” also known as an internal bra. Once you have breast surgery your body builds scar tissue. They take this scar tissue and sew it in to make an internal bra. They like to do this surgery at least 6 months after your original surgery. Due to work I was unable to perform this surgery til August 2016. Wow.. all I can say is WOW. I cannot tell you how happy I am with this result. I am 4 weeks Post Op and so excited to have the results I wanted. The pain is 80 % less than the first surgery. Yes you are sore and tender but the results are AMAZING!
