Went in for my second consult with a PS for a BA!...

Went in for my second consult with a PS for a BA! Saw Dr. Pousti and knew he was the right guy for the job. He was very honest in letting me know what I could realistically achieve. I am 5'4" and 103lbs and wear a 34A (can't fill in the cups all the way though. :[ ). I would like to have a D or DD at the end of it all, but Pousti let me know he was not going to increase the chances of risks and complications to get me to the CCs I liked. I have been researching this for years, more adamantly these last few months. I headed in thinking a 400cc-500cc silicone Mod+ under the muscle was what I wanted. When I tried on the 450cc sizer, I was disappointed. When I tried on the 550cc sizer, I knew that was really close to what I want. To my disappointment, Dr. Pousti said he wasn't comfortable putting an implant that large on my body. He wanted me to shoot for the 350cc range. I was astonished that I had boobie greed before I even had boobies! Haha. I really think it may have been the dress I was wearing or something, those 450's just looked so...meh! I am still very confident in Dr. Pousti and we discussed possibly doing my BA in two stages to get to the size I want. At first, I was kind of saddened, then I realized, I'll either wake up with some 350's that look FABULOUS just the way they are! or I'll just have to come back a year later, but with minimal chances of getting a complication. I figured if I have to go under the knife again, I'd rather enjoy smaller than I'd like boobies for a year than get huge boobies with complications for a year. Overall, I kind of felt like a pain in Tom and Daisy's (the super sweet assistant) butt while I was complaining of the huge sizers being too small. I will bring more shirts & wear jeans next time to get a better idea of what they will look like. I'm pretty positive I'll be making a deposit to save my date by next Friday.

I was able to get squeezed in this Wednesday to make my deposit and ask the dr a few more questions! I will ask to try on sizers again but tell them not to tell me how many CCs are in each so I won't get hung up on the number. Any suggestions on what I should wear to get an accurate idea of how the sizers will look when they are really inside me!? Also if I should bring a specific type of bra? Like I said before I wore a dress, not the best idea to see all the new curves.

I had my second appt with Pousti today! I had the assistant bring me sizers and not tell me how many CCs where in each. I went with 550 again! How funny! I even tried on a 650 and thought the 550's were perfect. Pousti insists they are still too big, and I trust him COMPLETELY! Just thought it was funny. I booked my date for May 24th!!! :] 6 days after my graduation. Bad news...got denied by Care Credit yesterday. :[ I have 726 credit score, but only one credit card for less than a year and low income at the moment. Anyone have any advice on how I can get approved with Care Credit? Or any other financing companies that have different credit criteria/rating basis?

I got approved for my full surgery amount with Care Credit after usin my bf as a consigner. I plan on only putting $3k on the card and paying for the rest upfront. It was such a relief to see that I was approved. I found a new boobie idol!!! Stk333 here on RealSelf! Her results are perfect and I am putting some of her photos on my boobie wish board that Dr Pousti will refer to when we are in the ER. I guess my pre op appt is coming sooner than I expected!!! I'm sure the wait for my actual operation date will take forever.

Went to my pre-op appt today! Showed my PS, Pousti, my new goal photos. :] One of them being my Real Self boobie idol: stk333! They kept reassuring me that I'll have a great result and a good amount of breast tissue. I have the homework of making my poster w/ goal photos for the operating room. I didn't go over too much of my concerns, cause I figure I will take my photos into the OR and tell my PS what I like about each of the photos and have him write notes directly on the photos so it'll be perfectly clear to him and so we can be on the same page! I'm very excited and still a bit nervous about a few things. I have a lot of trust in my PS though, he's the only reason why I haven't had cold feet, just normal nervousness. I cannot wait!

My surgery is in 12 days, ladies! I am really really anxious now though. :[ Like bad anxiety. I have a million things going on in my head and it didn't help that my BF is questioning how natural my breast will feel after my surgery. Just one more thing to worry about! :[ Can any of you ladies let me know honestly if your breasts ever feel completely natural post-op, including the jiggle and bounce? Thanks girls....needing positive thoughts now more than ever.

5 More Days

Thanks to the ladies at Dr P's office and my diligent calling back for cancellations, I am scheduled to see my PS tomorrow afternoon to go over last minute questions and concerns. I completely trust Pousti since I decided to go through this huge life changing experience with him, but I am still nervous about my procedure. I hope to voice my concerns so he can reassure me of my worries, we can get on the same page about things, and so he knows what aspects are most important to me. I have all my pictures that I want on my poster and hope to go over each one with him so I know how to phrase my notes for each photo on the board. Size is still a major concern. I want big, but I want them to not make me look like a porn star and I want them to feel most natural and have a natural shape. I hope I don't have to give up on size to get those results I want. It's tough...can you really have it all?

Just Had Surgery this Morning!

I'll write more in depth later cause I just took my pills and am really sleepy. I felt really nervous when I was on the surgical table. Dr Pousti called my BF after I got out of surgery and said he went with a "higher profile" and that he spent extra time on me because he knew I was a perfectionist. He also said that I will love my results. I had my poster in the OR with me. He said I communicated what I want really well. I am too afraid to look down at my boobs, even with the bra on. My friend said they will look small at first, so I am avoiding it. Post-op appt on Tuesday.

5 days Post-op!!

First 3 days were great! No pain or completely manageable with pills. Very loopy though! Hated feeling loopy. Stopped pain meds night of day 4. Had my post op on day 4. Went great! Found out I'm a 440cc HP! Pousti said he threw away a perfectly good set of implants that we're mod + cause it gave me too much upper pole fullness for what i wanted. That's customer service right there. Also ladies HP doesn't always mean full upper pole apparently. Depends on the profile and size. I may have over done it at my post op. on the way home I had a mini panic attack and was super stiff. My friend came over to look at me and wash my hair. She and my bf left and my stiffness escalated to where my head was pointed straight back. I called pousti crying and freaked out. He told me to have friend cOme and give me benadryl which helped. I also got to early to ahead to sleep on my back instead of upright to help with my tenseness. Pousti told my bf to massage me, which he did. Awesome! So now I feel bettwr than ever. Sharp boobie pains though. My friend said that's the muscle releasing the implant. How is everyone else healing? I'd love to know.

Question for you Gorgeous Ladies

Healing Nicely

It's been a tough recovery in terms of emotions. A lot is going on in my personal life. My breasts are healing well. Had my 3 week post op appt yesterday. Got it moved up a couple days because of a fear of an infection. There was an odor coming from my problem side (lefty), and it turns out it was just the solution they used to put the steri-strips on. I got the OK to wear a sports bra and remove the steri-strips. I got a look at my incisions for the first time. I have never had surgery before this one, so it was a little weird to see scars on myself like that. There is creasing throughout my areolas and I can see were my left incision had a stitch that popped. :[ I just sent pictures to my PS office. They have been VERY helpful with my concerns. I never feel like I'm bothering them and they always follow through when they say they are going to check up on me. I'll let you guys know what they say about the pictures!

1 Month Post Op

I just had my 1 month post op appointment yesterday! It actually wasn't scheduled, my PS just asked me to come in because he knew I was a bit concerned about my incisions. One side is really really nice, the other side (leftie is my problem child) is more noticeable. There's a shallow separation on that side, but it was irritated and the steri-strip had to be replaced early on. My PS gave me the go ahead to use Bio-Oil. I noticed that at the end of the incision on my left side, the skin is firm. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it something that I can massage away?

3 1/2 Months Post Op

Loving my results, looking more and more natural each week. I hope the slope becomes more natural/less perky. I am thinking about getting my aureolas tattooed to re-pigment my hypo-pigmentation on my scars. Anyone out there have their aureolas tattooed?

Victoria's Secret Measurements

Got measured at VS at a 32DD or 34D. Yay!

1 year 7 months post op

I LOVE my result. I could not be any happier with my decision. My mom was super upset when I told her last Christmas but she's gotten over it now. :)
My slope is natural. I have dropped and fluffed out to have an hourglass silhouette I wanted. I have gained about 17lbs since my surgery, but I'm in a much better relationship where I'm happy and less stressed.
I would recommend Dr Pousti and sillicone implants to anyone! So soft and firm at the same time. They move and jiggle when I brush my teeth and walk down stairs.
I wanted the perfect "are they real or fake? They look too big to be real...but they don't look fake an hard" look. Dr Pousti helped me achieve that.
When I have the time and money I may go back to get a scar revision. Anyone have a scar revision on their areola?
