5 days Post Op

So fast forward to my fifth day post op!!!! I literally kept passing out over the weekend due to the percocets. It was all rest, eat, meds, bathroom and sponge bath, repeat!! Lets just say for the first 4 days, i literally needed my boyfriend to assist me in evvvvvverything. And also, recliners are your best friend. Much easier to get in and out of for bathroom etc, and make sure you sleep comfortably at a 45 degree angle. My sleep was actually pretty good, thanks to the schedule of percocet every 4 ours, valium every 8. Soup and crackers first 2 days and then a good size meal of solid food the next. All in all, i did better by the day. I took short little walks around the house, just to get my body moving, and that really does help! I kept everything by me, water, chapstick, back scratcher, fan control, and boyfriend. Haha.

Update!!!! Reflecting On surgery day.

Alright, so i was going to share my excitement and feelings all the way up to and on my surgery day but my nerves were so racked that i didnt even want to write them down. I will not lie, i was terrified, having never been put under, having a 2 hour drive home and nausea and pain etc.... but as it turned out, everything ran so smoothly that when i woke up i was so surprised and excited. I have the doctor and all the nurses and staff to thank. They made my experience so pleasant. The first nurse came in, took vitals and got my IV going, got my gown and gown heater going, hr name was Susan, such a funny and warm lady. A second nurse came by that would also be in OR and talked again about my goals... then anesthesiologist came in to discuss concerns and the procedure of how it all goes. She listen to my nausea concerns and made sure that nausea meds would run thru extra. Next thing was got all ready to go, waked into OR, laid down, Dr Pousti held my hand and talked about Hawaii, and i was out. He is so calm and caring that he puts you right at ease. He is the definition of the perfect doctor. I cant express my thanks enough to he and his staff. They are top notch!!!!

Overall rating

I initially went in to see Dr. Pousti 4 years ago for my first consult and he was so professional, warm, kind and funny!!! He made me feel so comfortable. Due to life changes etc, i didnt go thru with my surgery at that time. Fast forward to 2017, i knew Dr. Pousti is still who i wanted. I had another consult, same results with his service, nothing but assurance, professionalism, confidence and that humor! Ive enjoyed every time i got to meet with him. I had no doubt that i could trust him to make all the right decisions that had to do with my breast augmentation. He made me feel so comfortable and without any doubts about what i would be doing. He is a true artist and a superb surgeon. I refer everyone i know to him and nothing but great words about him AND his staff. I could not thank Dr Pousti and is wonderful staff enough. Team Pousti all the way!!!! I will definitely always go to them for any of my cosmetic needs.
