One Month Post Op Breast Augmentation

WORTH IT

I am one month post op and am so happy with my results. My breasts are so natural looking and it's still early in the game! My scars are healing so quickly as well and I haven't even put anything on them. The muscles on my chest were very high and short and I had minimal tissue so it wasn't the easiest to achieve this look. Dr. G is incredibly competent and I feel very safe and trust him. When I walked into the office on Tuesday for my month post op appointment I was greeted by Jessica and Eva's smiling faces asking me how I'm doing. from the post op appointment the next day to my week after appointment, they genuinely cared about how I was feeling and making sure I was comfortable and happy. There were no concerns but I know that if I had any they would have been addressed. On this appointment the office was pretty busy. Brenna came out later and I had the same experience with her. She was happy to see me and chatted for a minute. Very personable even though you can tell they were busy. I will post more pictures this weekend with me in a bikini top!

Had a follow appointment! Said everything looks great and healing nicely. I love that dr. G keeps you informed of everything along the way! It feels so amazing not wearing the ace bandage around my chest anymore too! Got some stretches to do but other than that everything looks great! Thought I would post some pictures of before and how everything looks as of today.

ORIGINAL POST

I had been thinking of getting boobs for a long...

I had been thinking of getting boobs for a long time and finally made the choice. I decided it was time and had a consult just to ask some questions and get my concerns addressed. As soon as I met dr. G and talked to him I knew he was the one I wanted to perform my surgery. I'm tall with wide hips but still a very athletic build. I wanted a very feminine and natural look and I could tell right away that he understood the look I was going for. He gave me his recommendations and did not pressure me into anything. He took as much time as I needed when answering my questions and I never once felt like he was rushed.
During my pre op appointment I brought my very nervous and skeptic mother with me and he took as much time as she needed explaining the natural look that we discussed and how it's very attainable. I opted for the anatomically shaped ones and know that they were the best choice for the look I wanted.

The staff are amazing and made sure I knew I could ask them anything I needed. I am now 4 days post op and I feel amazing. A little sore but have not even had to take that many pain pills. I usually get really nauseous with anesthetia but I never once felt sick. They have me a drink called clear fast to drink the morning of and that help with a lot of the hunger and is also supposed to help when coming out of surgery. I felt sleepy but I was 100% coherent and even had in n out for dinner the night of my surgery. Still am amazed at how great i felt waking up. Dr. Marsh (the anesthesiologist) really knows what she is doing and the nurses are so kind and attentive. At my first post op when dr. G unveiled everything I was so happy! I know that they are swollen and the shape is not what they will for sure look like but I am already so happy. I trusted him with making the final decision of 400 or 450 depending on how they look and what he knew I wanted. he went with the 450 and I am so happy! I can't wait for next week when I have my next appointment!

Can I ask you what type of implant you got ?
Yes! I don't remember the technical terms for them but I got the textured shaped implants. He recommended the longer ones (they go higher up your chest) since I have a long chest and my breasts started very low.
I was going to go for the textured ones but I've read that they are a lot firmer and don't feel as natural as real breasts, although they look more natural. Your thoughts? Yours look great!
I would recommend talking to Dr. G about that. Mine are pretty squishy and don't feel hard at all! They jiggle and everything! The bottom of my breasts had to little to no tissue so I can feel the implant there but it's definitely not hard or anything. It's like a gummy bear
