Well, I'm updating once again, it is now POD 12. I don't have anymore pain, just some discomfort that seems to keep me from sleeping a whole night through :(. My shape is coming in which is a plus, I still have my left drain in because my left side was so much more swollen than my right was. I hope to be getting my drain out on Friday. I am almost able to stand upright, which is a great thing! I must admit ladies when I got my right drain taken out it was more painful then I thought it was going to be. I must say though, the pain is worth it. I see my shape coming in and my belly is gone (besides the swelling that is still there) All in all, I think that it is coming along great.

Today is POD 6 and only have a few new developments. I don't have that horrible pain in my left side anymore (thank god!) and probably the biggest thing was that I had a few regular bms (i know, kind of gross). I had to use a glycerin suppository. I feel so much better now. Yes, it's coming out like soup but at least it's coming out. Some of the swelling also went down on my left but it still looks lopsided.

Well hello ladies, it is now POD 4 and everything seems to be doing better. I can ALMOST stand up right, which is a BIG relief on my back. My headaches are gone, I switched up most of my Oxycodeine pills with regular Tylenol per PS instructions and it seemed to take them away.

My big concern is that when looking in the mirror today, my left side is EXTREMELY bigger than my right. I look lopsided! I asked my PS about this and he said that it could be due to swelling but if not than he can take care of it in his office (which he usually doesn't have too) when I go and see him Friday for my post op appointment (its a little late, I know but we live 3 hours away from the PS) I don't know how I feel about this, I'm a little emotional and feel like crying. I didn't go through all this pain to look deformed! Please ladies can you help? Has this ever happened with one of you?

Other than the above mentioned problem, everything seems okay. The line is REALLY low, which is good because I have a short torso. I can't wait until I see my belly button! Anyways, I posted new pics so that you can see how its progressing.

I found Dr. Brown, off of this website, after reading a post that someone wrote describing his work and manner. I did some research and haven't found one negative comment about his work.
