I've ways had a long pointy nose, and started to feel uncomfortable with it in high school. Waited a long time to have this done and so excited to see the outcome! I found Dr Kolstad and was very happy with my consult. The recovery hasn't been so bad so far. It's not a painful procedure, but if you are a nose breather like I am, this will be very uncomfortable for you. Didn't sleep much the night before or the day after. I had a ton of relief once my packing was taken out. I could breath through my nose a bit and finally was able to get some sleep. I'm really swollen and my eyes look like they both have shiners, but I feel ok. Tomorrow I go to have the stitches removed.

Day 4
CC2687March 30, 2015
The days are getting easier because breathing is becoming better. It was really hard to eat having a completely plugged up nose and I feel like I've gotten my appetite back and can enjoy a meal. At this point I feel fine, just a little more tired than usual. I had the stitches removed today, it burned a little and made my eyes water but that was the extent of the discomfort. I'm starting to see my facial swelling turn yellow which means my body is reabsorbing the fluids and I don't have any new swelling. My cheeks are swollen though which makes my entire face look strange. The results are just a waiting game now :)

I feel totally back to normal :) I can breathe through my nose. I have my energy back. Just been playing with the kiddos, running small errands, took the kids to the park yesterday. My cheek swelling has gone down a lot :) #happy
oh and by the way I haven't taken any narcotics for pain through this entire process, I don't know if I mentioned that or not ;) just some Motrin the first few days. This procedure is pretty painless. :) next update will be cast off pics

so a hair question for you, i love the barbie blonde you have is it just highlights or all over color> do u use a toner. love your color!!!! I'm alone too and its hard to achieve that color.

I usually do a partial highlight with a golden blonde color pulled through. I don't really tone my hair but it's good to use purple shampoo here and there to maintain the blonde.

it sure is petty! when u say a gold blonde tone pulled thru do they break your base? lighten it? my lady refuses to break my base and to me it always looks like i have regrowth :(

Yes exactly, my base color which is like a dirty blonde she colors with a golden blonde. Why would she refuse? Maybe you need a stylist who does what you want/ask for?

thankyou!!!! she says if she breaks my base it will turn or be brassy, but my base is like yours a dirty blonde and the rest is a very light blonde, i just want the base warmed up a little..... guess i have to find a new stylist!
