Rhinoplasty and Lower Transconjuctival Blepharoplasty - La Jolla, CA

I had been looking to get this procedure done for a couple years now and had been going to different consultations throughout. I wanted to make sure I chose a skilled surgeon that artfully performed the surgery and understood the contours of my face and only specialized in facial plastic surgery which is CRUCIAL in choosing your surgeon, it's your FACE you're dealing with. Many surgeons out there have their "signature nose" and I did not want to have the same, "surgery" look on myself.

Additionally, in choosing someone that only specializes in facial plastic surgery, prevents any regrets, think about it you don't go to an ophtamologist for OB/GYN issues. It's crucial you choose someone that has done these procedures over and over again, this is what makes the doctor skilled at their craft.

I am 6 weeks post-op and I'm incredibly happy with my results and I know it takes almost a year to see final results for rhinoplasty. The surgery went as expected, I fortunately had little bruising, I think the Arnica Montana pills and gel really helped. The first week is just uncomfortable which is expected since you can't breathe through your nose and have to sleep upright, I highly suggest those airplane pillows for your neck! The saline spray did not really do anything really so after I got my splints taken off I used the neti pot which made a night/day difference.

The blepharoplasty was the best decisions I've ever made, I am 28 yrs old and had suffered from congenital bags under my eyes and makeup did nothing to hide them! People constantly asked me if I was tired, if I got enough sleep.... etc., I was so self conscious I would never take my eyeglasses off and at times I would not go outside during the day since I felt they were more noticeable at that time of day. The transconjuctival procedure was painless, no discomfort, nada! After I woke I felt as if nothing was done inside my eyes. Having lower blepharoplasty is for anyone that is suffering congenital eyebags, all those miracle creams that claim to erase bags will do NOTHING, I've spent $$$$ in creams prior the procedure and always felt disappointed, save your money and schedule a consultation and see if blepharoplasty is right for you! Now my face looks refreshed and nobody has asked me if I'm tired since. I'm so HAPPPPY!
