I am a 28 year old female who developed a spare tire that just wouldn't go away, I am natural thick in the thighs and hips but all my weight started to settle in my lower abdomen and love handles. Let me say I was scared to death about getting this procedure done and I chickened out once in the past. I finally decided to go for it and that's exactly what I did! I'm writing this review to help others like me who we're looking for a real beginning to end review of the procedure

BEFORE: I met with Rod and Pacific Lipo for my initial consultation. Although I was very nervous he was very easy going and made me feel very comfortable. We went over the areas i wanted to do and he gave his recommendations. He allowed me to ask the questions I wanted and answered them truthfully without making me feel crazy lol. There was no pressure to make a decision there but I decided I was Going to go for it and put down the required $500 to set my appointment. They go over exactly how much the procedure will cost with you, And it includes all garments, medication, and follow-ups so there are no hidden fees. I was also given a list of item to avoid two weeks prior to my procedure (I will include that here).

Things I bought prior to procedure:
1. 7 pairs of Yoga pants that we're fold over so the waist was nice and loose
2. Antibacterial soap
3. All over body wipes (since you can't shower for three days)

DAY OF PROCEDURE:

I arrived at 8am and filled out a disclaimer and was taken back to change, they weighed me and took my blood pressure. Rod came in and marked the areas we were going to work on. I was given antibiotics and medication to relax me, which helped a lot with the anxiety. The procedure was very easy.... the numbing is the only thing that kind of hurts (just like a shot). Once you are numb you don't feel anything. Rod and the staff keep you relaxed and comfortable by talking to you the whole time. I actually brought my iPod but barely used it. Before I knew it I was dome and the assistants helped me clean up and bandage me up. I was taken back to the post op room and given me my take home kit with extra pads, antibiotics, and after care instructions. I hung around for about 20 mins to male sure my blood pressure was stable and I was good to go.

THE DAY AFTER:

Maaaaaaan what a night. I had a rough time sleeping because I was very uncomfortable with all the bandages. Please keep in mind I did not take the sleep aid they provided. I do not like pills so I only like to take what is absolutely necessary. After I ate breakfast I took my antibiotic and a vicoprofen. This was a big help because I was very tender the next morning. The next day you can remove the ace bandages and netting, this also made me a lot more comfortable. While taking them off I did get a little light headed. I would recommend you have someone there to help.

The past few days have been fine. I returned back to work today and felt fine. Only worked 6 hours but totally would've been fine doing a full 8. I took my first shower today and it felt sooooooo good!!! It stung a little bit because of the antibacterial soap but it wasn't too bad. My bottom punctures were still leaking a little. I also did not take any pain meds since I was going to work but I felt totally fine. I just took it easy getting up and down from my desk. When I looked in the mirror I was literally in tears it looked so good Rod is amazing !!

you are looking GREAT!!! i'm flying out from florida to LA for lipo with Dr Rollins at Elite Bodysculture in June... I can tell you what.. I'm very, very nervous!! I'm mostly concerned about any pain during and after the procedure, but also about the results, as it's not like I wil be able to just pop in for a touch up ya know... Please let us know how you are progressing....

Pain during is minimal.. After the numbing it's super easy and comfortable. I'm doing well post op and Am up and moving and not in pain. Since I'm back at work I'm not taking anything and I'm completely fine all day. You are just tender like you had a really hard core ab workout. I only take a Vicuprofen at night to relax me and put me to sleep.

I had my procedure at elite as well but with Dr Yovino who was great. I am 2 weeks post op and very happy with how fast I'm healing. At elite I came in was given an anxiety pill and antibiotics. The nurse came in and gave me a shot in my arm for pain. Dr Yovino did another consultation and marked me up with the marker. After that I was taken to the procedure room where I got to suck on laughing gas it was great had me feeling nice and tipsy. Dr Yovino came in and put on pandora for me preped me for surgery. Then he proceeded with the incisions, he made 7 which it just felt like a slight pinch. He talked to me throughout the procedure and explained what he was doing. After the incision he pumped me with the tumesent fluid and went to work. When he would get to areas that were pinchy, like the ribs he would warn but again it just felt like a pinch nothing really painful. Before I knew it it was over. The nurse bandage me up and took me back to a recovery where I doozed off for awhile. Dr Yovino came in and gave me some final instruction then one of the nurses walked me to the hotel I was staying at. He gave me a call that night to check on me. I love elite body sculpture the staff is wonderful there. Dr Yovino gave me his cell and told me to feel free to call him or text anytime I have any questions. Oh I got abs, waist, hips done. My holes are completely closed up and one of them I can't even see it any more. The other lil scars are fading fast as well.

I did not have my procedure at Elite, I have listed the facility here. sounds like you are promoting your doctor more than asking about my experience :(

Today I went for my one week follow up with my doctor. I am feeling great and things are looking great. I finished my last dose of antibiotic today, which was right on time because all my incisions have officially closed and scabbed over. I do feel a little tender and have some swelling right under my breasts in the upper abdomen. My doctor advised he did a lot of work there so that is to be expected. The feeling is back in my lower abdomen and love handles. It is still a bit tender but only when u really push on it, and the numb feeling is wearing off a lot. I was told I need to start massaging my stomach 2-3 times a day especially in the hard areas. This will help with the swelling and fluids. All bruising is pretty much gone as well, just a few small marks on my hips. Last but not least, I will move into my smaller garment tonight. :)
