Too Much Fat Transfer- done by a different doctor Ultherapy Done to Reduce Fat. Also CO2 Peri Orbital Area

ORIGINAL POST

Sooooo happy with the results of both procedures....

WORTH IT$4,000
Sooooo happy with the results of both procedures. A previous doctor placed too much fat in one of my cheeks. When I went back to ask about removing it the doctor refused to do it. I felt stuck, trying to figure out a way to remove the fat, as every time I smile, the area bulges out and made me very self- conscious and unhappy with my looks.

I went to Dr Butterwick who recommended CO2 for the creepiness under my eyes and ultherapy to reduce the fat in my cheek area. After 20 days, I am so happy about the results! My eyes look bright and the skin looks smooth under my eyes. And, the fat bulge that I was worried about being stuck with has gone down to look almost completely normal. I'm looking forward to the progress over the next few months!

Thanks to Dr Butterwick for truly listening to me and offering your opinion and expertise. You are the best!

I'm glad it worked for you. Which doctor did the fat?

He is a well known doctor for fat transfer. I think he is used to a "formula" that works for many women. But, it didn't work on me, I was disappointed that my concerns were brushed off as overreacting, and he was adamant that he has never had to remove fat transfer from any of his patients in the past. But, I also think that may be due to him needing to always be right. Anyway, I don't really feel comfortable leaving his name, but have learned a lesson the hard way that it is crucial to work with a doctor who both listens to their patient and understands their unique facial features, and offers their expertise.

I'm so excited to read this review. I also had too much fat transfer placed in my face about just under too years ago now. Exactly the same, when i smile it looks ridiculous! I can also start to see sagging my jowl area. Would you consider posting any photos? Also do you have any tips on how to cope during the procedure, it sounds very painful!

It wasn't painful at all. I was given sedation because I had ultherapy done in conjunction with CO2 around my eyes. The ultherapy softened the bulging fat in my cheek area. I'm going to recheck with Dr Butterwick in 5 months, and possibly do another session of ultherapy. I'm just so happy to find a solution to a problem I thought I'd be stuck with! I highly recommend going to Dr Butterwick if you are trying to reduce the fat transfer you received. She truly listened to my concerns and helped me problem solve. I'm finally getting my confidence back again!
I will post pictures of before and after sometime later this week.

The besxt solution is a facelift with a GOOD doctor who does the early maintenance FL. He can do fat transfers too.

How much is the cost to dissolve that fat from one jowl. As I have the same problem.

The ultheraoy in conjunction with the CO2 around my eyes was about $4,000. Not cheap, but definitely worth it

Ulthera is absolutely effective at removing fat and volume. In my case, it provoked some long-term swelling which looked quite nice for about 4-5 months, after which I began to notice rapid onset of sagging and gauntness. Unfortunately, that loss of volume continued. A little bit of the lost volume has been restored with the help of a much more informed and talented plastic surgeon. But in the end, Ulthera set me back several years -- I now look my age, whereas before that people assumed me to be a decade younger.
